Provider worked to help me understand why the cost of my invoice was rising so much each month. The bill was reduced (very little) and Free Starz was added. Comcast has the worst customer service ever. Unfortunately, their internet is the best in this neighborhood.
Description of Work: Spoke with provider regarding prices constantly increasing.

Description of Work: I have had Comcast for many years for my TV and internet. I have On Demand, DVR, high speed internet, etc. I have always found their service and the quality of their product to be excellent. When there is an occasional service problem, I phone and it is almost always taken care of quickly without a service call. Most recently I did need a service call because my modem died; the serviceman came the same day and replaced it free of charge. In February I started noticing problems with my bill. Without going into great detail, I called their 800 number and the woman I talked to, while pleasant and willing to help, frankly did not seem to understand what was going on. I eventually went to their main office to talk to someone about it; I dreaded this visit; it's a rather long drive and I was warned by friends not to expect to get to talk to anyone. I was most pleasantly surprised by the visit. Everyone was friendly and helpful. There was virtually no wait to speak to Kasey who quickly figured out, after consulting with another employee, what had happened. I was being double billed for a video service (a new one was added without deleting the old one); she gave me a substantial credit and we discussed my package with the result that I got signed up for a different one with nearly all the features of my old one for much less money. I would give Comcast an A if not for the initial confusing situation with my bill; a B+ is what I feel they deserve.

I don't have any complaints. One problem we do have is that the cable service goes out at 4:00 in the morning or something like that. I called them later on and explained it but they said they just have some kind of a problem. There were times when I was recording something I would know because it would go out at 4:00 and then come back on again so they got some kind of a service that they're doing like maintenance or whatever. They've been out several times and I think they took care of things. We're considering changing for some different reason and different programming.

I don't like having to get a bundle. I hate that. The phone service is not that great. The pricing is a little high.
Description of Work: I last used Comcast about a month ago to report troubles in the cable services.
