Based on my first and so far only experience with this plumber, Dale, I recommend him highly. I am amazed at what he did for me. I had a rotten drain pipe going back into the wall that needed to be replaced. Two plumbing companies with fancy trucks told me they couldn't replace the pipe, and they would have to take out the sink vanity, cut holes in the wall replace a large section of the iron pipe with PVC parts. They would do this sometime next week at a price between one and $2000. Luckily, I called Clifton Plumbing Co., and Tammy had Dale give me a call explaining how he would take out the old copper drain pipe, which would be soldered into a collar and replace it with a new galvanized pipe. He talked big, but could he deliver? Dale showed up on time a few hours later in an old Chrysler minivan, looked at the job, and got to work. He didn't talk much, and I had to stay out of his way, but less than 30 minutes after he arrived, he had the pipe and collar removed from inside the wall and replaced with a new galvanized pipe ready to hook the sink too. I was so amazed at what this guy could do that I ask him if he could also replace the same kind of pipe in a bathroom on the other side of the wall. 20 minutes later, he came out, and it was done. I didn't get fancy trucks nor salespeople to schmooze me, but I did get to talk to Tammy, and I got to see a skilled plumber go in laser-focused on getting the job done and doing what others could not do. Dale is great. The countertop installers had not done a good job installing the granite sink; there were ill-placed clamps and a general lack of structural support. Dale built up the structure needed to make sure the new sink was secure and replaced the pipes. I'm confident that the sink won't cause problems now.

Mr. Clifton had worked on my plumbing before when I bought the place. He told me that my water heater was making noises and that I should keep an eye on it. The noises were getting worse daily and I finally called and let him know that it was time. He had my old one removed and the new one in within a day. He called before he went there and left directions on which valves cut off the water to the heater and which one cut off water to the house. There was no mess and I was very happy.

Dale is always extremely professional and very responsive, and the work is exceptional. We've worked with other plumbers who were fine but Clifton is our first choice.

Dale Clifton came out and replaced an outside frostfree farm hydrant that had broken. He pulled in my driveway at 10:18 and left at 10:42. It is perfect. Thank you Thank you Dale. He is coming back to install new fixtures in a bathroom that we are remodeling.

I have used Clifton Plumbing many times as a homeowner and rental property manager. The company is very professional about responding to calls, scheduling, arrival time, and estimated time and cost to complete the job. Mr. Clifton does almost all the work himself and is very thorough from start to finish. I have a 90 year old house and he is undaunted by cast iron, galvanized, and other "vintage" plumbing situations. He is also personally kind, thoughtful, and trustworthy. I will always call him first!

He was efficient and professional. He worked longer on one toilet to sand down the debris around the flapper. He told me what to listen/look for to determine if it was working properly and if not, what the next step might be.

Clifton Plumbing Company came as soon as I called them. They are a local company and they are well known all around for reliability and good work. They replaced our toilet in good time.

We called the city, because the waterline burst outside of our home. They told us the problem was on our side of the property line. So we called Clifton's Plumbing, because he had always been very pleasant and did a great job for us. This job could have cost $600-$800, but he did it for a mere $150. We have used him for bigger and smaller jobs, but this time he really outdid himself. He fixed us up real good.
