They have done wonders on our cars. My husband has a classic 1972 Dodge Challenger and Cedar Bluff has two skilled mechanics that are able to handle working on classic older model cars. They were very attentive to every little detail and we were very happy with their services. My husband has become very good friends with the manager there now. We'd highly recommend them!

These guys are AWESOME! The have been caring for my mom's cars for years. As she aged and drove less, they could have taken advantage of her, but never did. They did just what was needed, and always at a reasonable price. When she could no longer drive, Scott graciously agreed to broker the sale of her car. He helped us set a fair price, sold the car to one of his customers, charged a reasonable fee, and personally delivered the check to Mom. These folks are fair, reasonable, skilled, and trustworthy. I wouldn't hesitate to go to them for any car-care issue.

We learned of Cedar Bluff Auto a number of years ago. Have used them for major repairs, tires & routine maintenance on several of our cars. They are always prompt & professional. We will continue to use & refer others to them.

At first I was rather impressed with the shop's speedy repairs and being able to schedule me fairly quickly. However, after I picked my car, I discovered issues. The shop replaced one of my license lamp light bulbs for "free." Well, i discovered later they destroyed my interior trim piece/panel on my lift gate. All but one of the mounting tabs for the large trim piece were torn and either missing or too damaged to be able to use, in order to secure the trim panel tightly to the inside of the lift gate (as it should be from the factory). There was some black/gray gooey adhesive/putty used, in an attempt to secure the trim panel to the lift gate. They instantly lost my trust. I lived in Knoxville during the time of the service, and moved out of the state a couple months later. This is when I discovered the issue; and no, the car was not taken to ANY other shop from the time it was at Cedar Bluff Auto to when I discovered this busted trim panel. I moved over 8 hours away and it wasn't worth my time to take the car back to complain. I would not recommend this shop.

They provided pretty good service, however I was wanting to get the same tires put back on my car that I had previously. They had difficulty determining the tires, I think probably because the previous tire shop had put two different tires on my vehicle which was not Cedar Bluff Auto Care's fault. They were professional throughout the process except that they tried to get me to get multiple other services that I declined, but they were very insistent, which was annoying. Overall a pretty good experience.

They worked us in promptly on short notice, and we even got there a bit late for our appt.  The driver's side front wheel had hit a curb and bent the rim such that it couldn't be driven on.  We had a spare on, but were concerned that the front axle, brakes, or suspension had also been damaged.  They inspected it, said it was OK, except for something that they were able to fix (can't remember what it was, but I don't think we were charged for it) and except for the front wheels not surprisingly being badly out of alignment.  We had a used rim that we had gotten from a salvage yard, and they put the original tire on the replacement rim, and re-mounted it, all very quickly.

Perfect!  Scheduled online - the guy who checked me in was very friendly and found my online reservation. (It always makes me nervous when I book anything online in Knoxville.) The waiting area was tiny, but wifi was available. Best of all - it took less than the time he quoted me. Overall, the service was great - the car drove wonderfully and as expected.  And even without the coup, this shop is at least 20-30% lower in price compared to other shops I called and dealers.  Regardless, they were happy to take the coupon I found on Angie's list. Great experience!  Would go back!

Excellent.  I got to Cedar Bluff Auto Care about a half hour early for my appointment, and they took me early after only a few minutes of waiting.  The alignment service was done quickly and I was treated in a professional and friendly manner.   Unlike may auto repair establishments, Cedar Bluff did not try to sell me any unnecessary or unasked for services.  I will certainly use them again for my car care services and highly recommend them.

I got this car back after lending it to my Grandson while he was at college for 3 years. It came back in bad shape. He did only minimal maintenance and did not take good care of the car. I cleaned it up and brought it to Cedar Bluff auto care with a list of problems.

They did a wonderful job of getting it back into tip top shape. The pricing was reasonable and the service was outstanding.

This is a small shop and you can  deal directly with the owner. The mechanics are experienced,  knowledgeable  and  willing to talk and explain things directly to you.

It is like a small town business. I was totally comfortable with them as they fully explained the problems to be fixed and the cost.

I wish I had found them years ago, but now they will be my choice for the future maintenance of my cars.

I took my old Honda, 216,000 miles, to find out about an oil leaks, which also caused a smell of burnt oil.   They found three oil leaks, explaining the cost and benefit of each leak.   I chose to fix two of the leaks because they accounted from most of the leaking as well as the burnt oil smell.   The third leak would cost $500 to fix and was not very bad.   The fixed the car on the day promised and I am very pleased with the work.   They are a very honest business and the owner, Scott, runs it quite well.

Have had my vehicles including my work fleet vehicle worked on since 2010 by Cedar Bluff Auto Care, they always do a great job are all very nice, courteous, and honest. I found them when another auto repair place in town told me I was in desperate need of new shocks on my fleet vehicle but when I had Cedar Bluff Auto look at the vehicle they stated very thing was fine no problems and when I showed the the estimate from the other repair facility they showed told me that the shocks they priced to place on my vehicle was bit only $135 marked up for the part but also not rated for my vehicle load.

I've often just had my vehicle towed right to the facility on Cedar Bluff and have dropped it there and put the keys in the overnight key drop when it has quit on me.  It seems like cars always want to break down at night or on weekends.  It's great to be able to do this and leave a note so they call when they open the next morning.  They NEVER repair anything or charge for any estimate until I authorize it.  Since I've been a single mom (widow) since 1988, I've needed a facility I can really trust.  The owner, Scott, is as honest as they come.  He is a hands-on owner who hires good people and stands by his word.   He also understands that sometimes people don't have the money to fix EVERYTHING that is wrong - especially if some issues can wait a few months (or years)  without  being a hazard or an issue.  They also have very inexpensive rental cars available through a cooperative agreement with a rental company which is essential when there is just one driver in the family.  I think their repair costs are fair and they don't rip people off.  They also don't try to get me to fix things that don't need fixing.  They may mention that I need to keep an eye on something but that's it.  Our vehicles all run great even though they have some mileage on them.  I Love my Jeep Grand Cherokee which has 180,000 miles on it.  I know that I will someday need to think about replacing it but right now it runs like a new car.  That is due in large part to Cedar Bluff auto mechanics.  They are excellent.

I would recommend them to others. They evaluate the problem easily and don’t do unnecessary work. Their price is reasonable; they are neither expensive nor cheap.

We have used Cedar Bluff Auto for a number of years and have always had great service.  They are punctual, do great work at reasonable prices.  If they believe you don't need a service, they will discuss with you.  Same if they notice something that might be a problem.  We will definitely continue to use them for all our auto service needs!

Our 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan had been idling rough for about a week; no other issues. We just had the tie rod ends done about 2 weeks prior at Cedar Bluff Auto.  The check engine light came on and we took it in to Cedar Bluff auto.  We were told the codes coming from computer were for #3 cylinder (I think) either leaking or misfiring.  Cedar Bluff Auto determined the head was leaking or damaged (we never overheated).  Cedar Bluff Auto sent head to machine shop to grind flat; machine shop discovered crack in head so we had head replaced along with spark plugs.  This cost us over $1500....sounds reasonable if something actually gets fixed that was broken.  We picked the van up at the end of a day at closing time and my wife drives it home.  Once we are home she asks me to sit in van with her.  The van is idling slightly better than when we dropped it off. I called Cedar Bluff first thing the next morning to tell them how poorly van is running still, they say bring it back in (Robert did tell me he test drove it personally and thought it ran great; he is either a liar or crappy test driver!) Long story short Cedar Bluff Auto does not know what is wrong with our van and their best idea is to change more parts at our expense.  Our van has 153K+ miles and always has been serviced regularly and never had issues before this.  I will be taking van to Dodge dealership to fix problem.

Update 11/12/13
We traded van in on new to us used vehicle; we could not afford to throw more money at whatever problem was.  Robert from CBA contacted me about review and informed me that he never test drives any cars and that my wife must have misheard that report. I retract my statement about Robert test driving van and reporting it was driving fine. Robert wanted to know what we found out about van from dealership and what he could do to fix the situation; I told him he could refund my money spent on repairs, but he said that was not an option.  Robert then told me not to return to CBA and I told him I would never anyway.

My car was making an awful racket.  Took it into Cedar Bluff auto repair who quickly diagnosed the problem.  My muffler had come detached and they said they would try to re-attach it.  They were not able to do so, due to the compression fitting, and needed to replace the muffler.  They kept me informed of what was happening along the way, along with approximate wait times.  I braced myself for the worst, but the bill was much less than I expected.
My tires were looking worn, and they explained their condition and encouraged me to start looking around at new tires, but at no point did they try to sell me any additional service or parts.
