Calvin did an AMAZING job!! He contacted me within minutes of me submitting my request, came out within about an hour of my request, and had my unit fixed the next morning. I will DEFINITELY use Brown's again!!

Arrived early, friendly, clearly laid out this issues and how to resolve, condo is cooling down now. Great communication as well! I appreciate the fast response to my no air conditioning need.

They showed up fast and charged 65 for coming out to estimate the problem. Calvin hooked up his manifolds and, without looking at anything else, said we had a leak. He gave us a quote that included adding a stop-leak and refilling the freon. We agreed on the price and scheduled the work. He came back and suddenly could not do the work quoted. He told us to call his guy, who does installation work for a new unit. He did not charge us for the second time. He never used a leak detector device, so I do not know how he would even perform a job involving finding a leak without one. It was like he never intended on doing the stop leak/refill work in the first place but had no problem charging us 65 for performing no work. That is ok. Because of Calvin, we decided to purchase a ductless system and install it ourselves. Now, we do not have to deal with potential shady tradesmen and their tactics. Thanks to him, zero of our future dollars will go into the pockets of anyone working in his field.

Reportedly found a leak in my outside evaporator coil. Said that although my (1 year old) system had a 10 year parts warranty, that the manufacturer would only send a replacement coil so "someone" would have to dismantle the evaporator to replace the coil, and HE wasn't going to do it ! He then offered to "top-up" the Freon, for $900 ! When I said no, he then offered to do it for $500, "but that's today's price". Of course, I declined. I then had to pay his $65 "diagnostic fee" (for 20 minutes work). He asked me to make check out out to him personally, which I did. As is my practice, I endorsed the check "For Deposit Only", to which he objected, as he said he just wanted to go to my bank and cash it over the counter (not pay it into a bank account). I told him I wasn't changing it. I saw a copy of my cashed check today. He had scribbled his signature over my endorsement to obscure it. I wonder why he didn't want to pay it into a bank account ? Never again !

Calvin was great. He was quick and efficient and now my air is back to feeling cool!

Calvin was quick, professional and reliable, not the cheapest though as only it was capacitor that needed to be replaced but still worth it.

My air went out during the night on July 29, forecast was for 95 degrees that day. After waiting 2 hours for a callback from another company, I called Calvin and he arrived just after lunch. He quickly diagnosed and replace my outdoor fan motor and had me back up and running.
