The installers could not pattern match at the seams. One seam was not in the location agreed upon and an extra (unwanted) seam was necessary because the installers incorrectly cut the vinyl and did not have sufficient material to pattern match without adding a seam. The installers did not allow sufficient time for curing of the adhesive so the vinyl is significantly puckered at the seams. A second pair of installers were dispatched to finish the job and address the seam issues, but told me it was not fixable. Since 2 of the 3 seams are at main thoroughfare in the house, this is VERY unsightly. An agreement was made with the salesperson Tom Bomar (in writing) that I would not pay the balance due which was basically the installation portion of the bill, however, I have been harassed by repeated invoices from Broadway. Follow-up written communication requesting a zero balance invoice reflective of the agreement has not received a response from Broadway. Legal action on my part may be required ultimately to resolve this. A terrible experience.

First time I went to the Broadway store, I was greeted promptly and treated well by all the staff I talked with. I actually found the wood flooring I wanted elsewhere, but I was glad to go back for rugs. The sales person I dealt with for area rugs was pleasant, knowledgeable, responsive and helpful. We were able to get exactly what we wanted in a very short time period. I'll be going back when we're ready for the other rugs. Additional note: I had gone to their West Knoxville store several times (probably four times), and each time I found the staff to be uninterested in helping me. My husband was with me one of those times and his impression was as negative as mine was . They didn't have the flooring choices that the Broadway store did, either, but I'd never go back in there regardless. It's like they're a different organization.

Geoff Yarber at Broadway's west Knoxville store worked with us during our selection process. He was professional, knowledgeable, and very accommodating when we requested several samples. Jerry, Terry, and Billy Crowe did an excellent installation job. We did the entire house: upstairs and family room, master, hallway, and closet downstairs. It was evident they knew exactly what they were doing. They were pleasant, conscientious about the quality of their work, and took pride in a job well done. We highly recommend them and would use them again.

They were on time and did quick, neat work.  The product they sold me was very good quality and they worked hard to get the right match for our colors.

Wonderful!
The product we selected from samples and we were pleased. The installers were perfect. Tile installation was Derrick and the carpet installers were brothers, Terry, Jerry and Billy. We could not have asked for a better crew.

I've used them before over the years and I would give them excellent ratings. The sales representative are very good. It was a whole lot of work. The workers are very cordial. If they run into any issues, they let me know what they will have to do and they check with me.

The product is fantastic. The installation was extremely well done and the installer was outstanding. The job was in a laundry room and the installer did a very good job of moving out the washer and dryer and re-installing them.

The only issue we had was the lack of communication from the sales people following our order and down payment. Basically, we did not hear from them for a week until we finally called them. We had been under the impression that things would move quickly following the estimate (which was prompt by the way) and down payment. Not so. You have to keep on top of them.

Overall though, we are extremely pleased with the product and the installation so would definitely use them again.

It went great! The guys that came out to the house were clean and professional. See above for the story. In my profession, I deal with a lot of different people; inspectors, structural engineers, electricians, plumbers, HVAC pros...you name it...I've seen it all and I am so impressed with this company!

The only problem I had was the "wood strip" under the exterior doors. Using toe-molding did not look good; even though I was persistent in telling the manager per phone call--days kept going by with nothing happening. I finally gave up, and paid the second half of the cost for the work done.
Note: For some reason, I did not initially go on angieslist.com to find a flooring company; however, wished I would have as if I had, most likely would not have used this company because of a "B" rating; however, the flooring looks good enough for me.

Many problems. "In-stock" tile was no longer available, requiring another round of tile selection. We were told the install would take about a week, they took about three weeks and we had to stop work mid stream to have family visit for Christmas. Installers only worked about 6 to 6 1/2 hours a day. Installers wore ragged worn-out clothing. They initially laid out the floor using an off-true guideline. When I pointed out the guideline was wrong, they assured me it was OK, so, even though you could see it was off, I had to get a tape measure and prove to them the guide line was way off (about 3 inches is 15 feet); it would have been a real mess. They installed 10 or so visibly defective tiles, requiring a factory rep to come and inspect. They broke those tile out and reset new ones. They left the new floors with a grout haze on them, indicating it was the customer`s responsibility to clean them. Backsplash grout lines were uneven.

They did a lovely job. Only problem was I didn't buy enough tile, but they ordered more and had it the next day. Tube wasn't level and they had to make intricate cuts for the bottom tiles to be level. Great job!

The installers showed up about 30 minutes later than I expected. They were very nice, and did the whole job in one day. The carpet looked great when they left and my wife and I are very happy we went with the think pad and thicker carpet (although it was 500 dollars more expensive) than the original one Darryl recommended as being adequate. My wife and I really do not like carpet because of the cleaning involved and usually prefer hardwood/tile/laminate products but I must say that this winter getting out of bed and stepping on this carpet is an awesome experience. NOT COLD and very soft.
All the furnititure was moved and returned and I was impressed with that because it is very heavy.

There is a visible seam in the carpet in the middle of the room. Broadway sent out someone who verified that the installation was faulty and it needs to be repaired. I have had no success getting the repair done. Several times appointments have been made, but no one shows up. There are no telephone calls to cancel. I am very disappointed in Broadway Carpet; this experience has completely changed my evaluation of their services.

We have been very pleased with what they have done for us! We specifically called them back because they did such a great job on the hardwood floors.

They did remove the carpet and pad thoroughly and hauled it away.
This was an expensive 3/4" solid hardwood that was pre-finished that we got on sale.
The job was completed particularly fast, which was to the detriment of the hardwood.
Many many areas of the hardwood where one piece was pounded into the other were chipped, and some were warped.
Even since then over time many more have shown more and more warping and cracking.
Initially I complained a couple of times, asking for a manager to come out and see.
He refused and just sent the same young guys who installed the hardwood.
From what I have been told by other installers, time needs to be taken to carefully install pre-finished hardwood so as not to cause this problem.
I have had to travel most of the year. We are just a couple with no children and have not even been using this room this year.
It is really disgusting and sad to see the amount of money we spent for what should be a gorgeous hardwood ruined by the sloppy installation job. Even the young installers told me they told management at Broadway Carpet of the chipping and warping, yet there was never any effort to fix the problem, as of course it would cost them a lot of money. They only offered to replace one board. No one else ever came out to see the problem.
I am only home very short periods at a time ever since the installation, and now have to leave again and am seeing this condition worsening.
My suggestion to anyone would be to NOT use Broadway as if there is a problem, they are not going to respond. They are obviously not even attempting to hire installers to do the job properly so this would not occur.
Just very sad to have wasted so much money. We will not pay someone to rip out this hardwood and install something else.
So sad that it is so very difficult to find reputable people to do work on one's home.
I just don't understand how other people are raving about them.
This was not my/our fault - it was their rushed inexperienced installation, without any care for actually having the job done properly.
I will attempt once more to get them to come and see the worsening condition, but after almost a year I certainly do NOT expect any resolution as management at the time of installation had no interest in coming to the house to see what went wrong.

I was educated, not just "sold". Then, when what I needed was determined to be a remnant, I went to the Broadway location (where the remnants are kept), where I was also treated with respect, found what I needed, and received a very fair price for a large remnant. The remnant was cut and bound, and another rug that I had taken in was surged (sp?) ... all at an exceedingly economical price for quality work. AND ... both jobs were finished quickly. I am definitely a "raving fan".

We were very happy with them. They were nice and helpful in helping us select the right linoleum for that room. They told us how to prepare the floor for it, because we did that part ourselves to save some money. The price was right. It was a good experience all the way around. They did a really good job. We would definitely use them again for other flooring needs. The overall experience was awesome. I can't say anything bad about them. I think the price was very good for what we got. It didn't take them long to do the job. They were very responsive to our needs. They called to check on us. They came when they said they would. They didn't leave a mess. It was just great.

I am thing of getting them to install it as well, but haven't done it yet. The price was pretty good. I had two experiences. One was at a different location and they dropped the ball, but then when I went to the other location, they got on top of it and were very efficient. I was pretty pleased with them. They were fine overall.
