We were not able to meet the home inspector, so he called us when he arrived at the house, as well as when he had finished. He worked with the foreman on the project while he was in the house to resolve directly any issues he saw. When he was there, the gas had not been installed yet, so he returned to complete the inspection at no charge the next day. We were provided with an inspection report within hours of the completion of the inspection the first day, and were also given an updated report that included anything that was resolved from the day before. He was comfortable working via text, phone, and email, and the staff at his office were courteous and helpful. Overall, this was an excellent experience.

Dan Goodson with Best Choice Inspections has performed Home Inspections for clients that I represent in their home purchase. Dan is very thorough and always watches out for the best interests of the home buyer. They are thorough and professional. They know the building trade very well. Scheduling goes well and they are pretty punctual for the appointments. Dan Goodson is great to deal with.

It seems obvious that he didn't crawl under the whole house and at least a quarter of the area under the house, including some floor joists, were rotted out, and he did not make us aware of this. The repairs were thousands of dollars. It was a very painful experience for us and I would not want anyone to have to experience this again.

Two people came out to do the home inspection and they were very honest with me and they did a very thorough job. They gave me a very professional report and the price is reasonable. I would recommend them to anyone. It is a business that is run with a great deal of integrity. I can not say enough good things about them.

He checked everything from the attic to the crawl space. He provided me with an email with photographs and also gave me a list of people he recommended that could update things around the house. Scheduling went well and he was on time for the appointment. He was very friendly during the appointment. I would definitely use him again and recommend him to others.

He was awesome! He was very accurate and detail oriented. He was very easy to talk, and made everything easy for us, as we are first time home buyers. He was also available after the inspection to answer any additional questions we had. I would recommend him to anyone else looking for a home inspector.

We were very close to the closing date on our new construction home when we decided to have an inspection. We called on Thursday and Mr. Goodson agreed to do the inspection on Saturday. The builder then re-stained the floors on Friday so we had to change the inspection date. Mr. Goodson was very accommodating in squeezing us in so that we could make our closing. During the inspection, he was very thorough, checking items that I would have never thought of. He took pictures and made suggestions for several items that needed correction. He really put our mind at ease by making a recommendation that we included in our contract because of specific concerns we had with the home. I would highly recommend this company.

He did a wonderful job. He sent my husband a very thorough report and gave me a call this morning. He gave us lots of referrals on companies that can help us on the things we do need to repair. He was very detailed.

Mr. Goodson arrived a few minutes early and began his inspection on the outside taking photos as he went. The inspection started with the driveway and walks and proceeded around the house and then up on the roof.
While I was inside taking measurements for furniture placement, he completed the outside and started inside. He tested all wall plugs, plumbing, was down on hands and knees and up on a ladder thoroughly viewing all points of interest. I stayed out of his way reluctant to slow him down or interrupt his train of thought.
His final inspection area was in the garage where he inspected the water heater and the HVAC unit as well as the space above the garage.
He finished his inspection in about 3 hours and we discussed some of his findings plus he showed me where the water shut off was and various other helpful points. We left together.
His finished report was in my email basket (with a copy sent to my Realtor) this morning at 6:15 AM. There was a two page summary of what he considered trouble spots using pictures as illustration. The balance of the report was a detailed description of everything that he had inspected.
It is doubtful if I could have received a more professional home inspection report.
