They have a really good reputation. I've been there several times. I would highly recommend them to anybody. It's a family-owned business. It's been a business for twenty or thirty years. I would consider them honest and worthy of checking out. Personally, I would call them and they will get me in usually the next day. I would tell them what's wrong with my vehicle. Their prices are very, very reasonable. It's cheaper than most places to get an oil change and get my vehicle looked at. They call me by my first name. They make it a personal experience. I would absolutely use them in the future.

Excellent in all respects! Not a better shop in town. Friendly, honest, reliable.

You couldn't ask for two nicer people to work with for auto services. I bought my tires from another company, along with rotation and wheel balancing and alignment package, so I have been taking my car to that company for the duration of the package deal. But I would not hesitate to use Auto Technicians for any service I might need in the future. Finding good and honest and kind people to service your vehicle is a true treasure!

It went great. It was a radiator leak. I've been going to this business for almost 30 years. They are honest and affordable. They tell you if they can repair it or refer you to another source if they feel someone else is better at that particular job. I never hesitate to have them look at the problem. If it needs only a minor repair they don't push anything beyond that. They discuss the issue with you and provide you with options. Great people.

They did an excellent job. We've used this shop for many years. The owners have integrity. If the work is not needed, they will tell you. We trust them implicitly.

The people from Auto Technicians assess the problem and listen to me when I tell them what I think is wrong. They always have the car ready when they say it would be. They are very courteous. On the last repair hey looked around and tried to find parts that were getting a bit old on my Saturn. They took their time to check it. It saved me some money. They are wonderful people and honest. The quality of their work is good and I never had to take the car back even for a glitch.

I have been taking my car to Paul and Judy for over nine years. They are incredibly honest, attentive and informative and will steer you to the most economical resolution for your vehicle. They stand behind their work and are dedicated to a solid customer experience. I've dealt with other repair shops in emergencies and have been astounded at the cost - but Auto Technicians keeps it reasonable, especially considering the craftsmanship. They tend to stay busy, so it may be an extra day on your vehicle, but its a small price to pay for the peace of mind you get from them.

Paul and Judy were both very friendly, salt-of-the-Earth, people. My father is a mechanic and I have enough experience of my own to know when I'm getting an honest assessment and good advice. Paul was very good at explaining what they were seeing, what could potentially require additional work, and how much that would cost if required. He also pointed out two additional items not involving the clutch that could be replaced while they had the transmission off, but may not be necessary. Based on my experience with engines, Paul's advice was exactly what I would recommend my own family. It was the best possible recommendation. I was quoted $640 for just the clutch, and an additional $70 for the rear engine oil seal, $70 for the slave, and an additional cost of the fly wheel needs replacing/machining. Paul replaced the clutch and the rear engine oil seal, but told me when he got in there neither the fly wheel or the slave needed replacing. Although I should have been charged $640, based on the quote, Paul did both for the $640.

They are my regular mechanics and they do all my work. They seem to either specialize or attract customers who have older high mileage cars that they intend to keep for a while. Many people use them after their cars have gone out of warranty and they don't want to use the dealership. They are experienced at working with older cars and they are sensitive to peoples' budgets. They are very straightforward in advising on what is worth fixing given the age of the car and what is not worth fixing. They do good quality work. I appreciate that they will tell you flat out if you are wasting your money. They will do the repairs if you want them to but they will tell you if it is worth it or not.

Paul and Judy (the owners) always do a great job of checking things out thoroughly, working up a specific estimate before calling to discuss their diagnosis and recommendations, and going the extra mile to find reasonably priced parts, such as checking local junkyards before ordering new parts at retail. They've worked on my cars for years and seem to have an encyclopedic knowledge of all the unique foibles that particular models have. This turned out to be a relatively minor visit, but it wasn't my first. I've gone to Paul and Judy for years for minor and major repairs and have always been satisfied with the quality and price of their work. One thing I especially appreciate is their candor in advising what's worth fixing and what isn't on my older cars. And I like their downtown location, which allows me to drop my car off before work and walk to the office without having to arrange other transportation. I recommend them highly.
