They removed the existing deck and built a new beautiful deck we love. Mark & his crew were fabulous. They were very professional, knowledgeable & extremely experienced. They were so easy to work with. They were very precise & so neat. Each day as they left they put things up in a very orderly way. We also had our front porch redone. When they were finished things were completely pick up & cleaned up so there was nothing left for my husband & I to do but enjoy our beautiful new porch & deck. Our project went very well. My wife and I found Archadeck of Knoxville to be very easy to work with and reasonably priced. Mark was quick to offer suggestions about our project and he and his crew, led by Aaron were very professional in all regards, accommodating to our schedule and great to work with. We would not hesitate to use them again for future projects of a similar nature.

Although we had to wait a while because he already had so many decks to do ahead of ours, we were very pleased with the results, including the clip system, and would use him again.

Gorgeous. Only pitfall -- boards used seem to warp downward in the middle.
Thereby all the rainfall is staying on the deck and not running off.

We called Archdeck due to high rating on Angie's List.  Mr. Ward, the owner, came over and did an estimate.  A couple of days later, he brought over a very comprehensive contract  with a sheet of paper that detailed all that his company would do. He also brought a drawing of what the finished project would look like.  He gave us an approximate start date of about three weeks in the future and said that the work itself would take about 4 days.
About two weeks later, he called and said that his crew could start the next day if we were ready.  They actually came over and did a bit of work that afternoon.  The whole project took 3 and a half days.  His team showed up by 0900 every day and worked steadily and with precision.  
Every single gentleman who worked on our deck was polite and friendly.  Mr. Ward himself came on the last day and did a lot of work himself.  The clean-up was perfect.
We are extremely happy with our deck.  The deck is sturdy and beautiful.
Mr. Ward is a wonderful craftsman whose pride in his work is justified.   I can wholeheartedly recommend him without reservation.

After getting quotes from 3 companies, I decided on Archadeck of Knoxville. Mark stated very clearly what they would do and I thought the price was fair based on my other bids. The crew arrived on Tuesday and had the old deck removed and the footers poured by the end of the day. My new 12' x 27' deck was done by the end of the workday on Thursday! The construction is so much better than the old deck and it is beautiful! My neighbors are also pleased! I would recommend Mark, Scott and the crew to anyone!

Contacted contractor based on AL reviews. With contractor, visited a completed job with similar stainless rail system and deck surface.
Received quote for all work and estimated start date 6-8 weeks into future. Job started at date promised and was completed in 6 work days. Crew showed up at 8:30 everyday and worked the full day, for 6 days until job completed to our satisfaction. Weather co-operated with all sunny/dry days. Work site maintained clean and orderly during and after each day's work. Crew chief has been with contractor for many years. They have completed many decks similar in design/scope to our job. Our design has some tricky angles that required planning and real care during installation.
Contractor and crew chief kept us informed of progress. The quality of final work is superb and matched our highest expectations. The new deck adds significant entertainment area and improved external appearance of our home.

I had used them before. They are very professional, they kept to a good schedule. They cleaned up and I have a beautiful deck. I have had absolutely no problem with any leakage or drainage.

We are pleased because what they did lasted forever and it was a pretty deck. He's a great guy and easy to work with. He takes his time with you getting your design and works with your budget. We’re putting on a roof like a porch area. It's a big job because he had to take the roof off it and we had an overhang with a lot longer than normal so in order to do that he had to cut that upper soften area all off and it's half gonna be covered, a new deck on the bottom and we had some ceiling fans put in. He makes sure everything is in code which is important for resale. Their quality and job is good because I had them before. They are nice people.

There were some issues with the platform. Specifically, they received the wrong dimensions from Archadeck, the parent company. When that was discovered, they rebuilt the platform and then erected the gazebo. The workers were punctual and hard-working. I could tell they knew what they were doing and I'm confident they did a great job. They pulled building permits and the county inspector remarded on the how well they did.
I would use them again.

While the back deck was slightly higher in price than other quotes, the quality of work was well worth it! Obviously, as we hired them again to do a second job for us. Communication was maintained throughout the jobs, both crews were on time each day & the one time they weren't able to make it due to weather, we were notified the night before. I would highly recommend them.

3 level deck added to new home.  Archadeck assisted with design process and did a great job.  Cleaned work area daily.  Deck has aged well.  Plan to use archadeck on another project soon.

There were several problems encountered along the way and all were solved in a very professional manner. We modified our original plan and the changes were incorporated at no additional cost. Overall, the entire project went very well. All of our comments, questions and modification requests were handled to our satisfaction

I liked them a lot. I recommend them for anybody. 

Mark's crew arrived when he confirmed they would and worked hard until the project was completed. They totally cleaned up after themselves.

They did what they said they would do. The owner was very helpful resolving a few minor problems. Did good work.

This work was completed on time by the scheduled date of May 15, 2006. They cleaned up thoroughly. We did call them when we noticed a small stream of water running down the side of the house when it rained. They had their gutter person out and fixed it the next day.
