Alright Appliance Repair

Everything was good. They were out the next day after I called them.

He wanted 90.00 just to show up. He came quickly but was very unprofessional looking. He had no company truck or buisness card.  We had a newer Maytag refrigerator and the warranty had just expired. He replaced a relay overload switch and charged us 265.00 plus the 90.00 service call plus tax. We told him we wanted the part back and he said he had to return it. It only took 5 minutes to install it and we found out later through a contractor the part only cost 35.00. The job totaled 386.25 and he said he would take 300.00 if we wanted to pay cash for the job. Later on we contacted him to say we felt he had overcharged us after we found out the part didn't cost 165.00 as he quoted but rather 35.00. He said he would take 100.00 off and would return about a week later with money and the part. When he did not show up we called him and he said he had a death in the family and he was out of town. He said he would be there Friday instead. He did not show up again. When we called him back again, he said he wasn't going to refund the money because we agreed to have him do the work.

He asked me money to just show up. Then he came in and replaced the icemaker with much smaller one than what I had. It worked only for few days. I tried calling him many times after that and he was not reachable. He didn’t show up after that at all. I would never use him again in the future.
