Albright Painting

Jonathan's crew showed up on time day one and I was actually surprised how much was done that day. All prep work was complete and the stained woodwork had been treated with a primer. Days two and three were amazing. I left as soon as they arrived and came back around 4:30 for an update for the following day. Jonathan let me know they would be done one day early (always a welcome surprise). The last day went just as the others. Trista (his daughter and crew lead) told me to look everything over for a day or two and to let them know if anything was missed or not done to our satisfaction. There were only a couple of things and when I texted Jonathan, he let me know that he would have Trista come back out the following week. We set a time, Trista came back out, and she did the requested touch ups. This was such a great experience from beginning to end. I've already let Jonathan know that when I'm ready to do the exterior, he is the one for the job. Please don't let the price scare you. It was 2400 sq ft of stained trim, baseboards, doors (basically all wood in the house) that required three coats of paint to cover. The labor cost for that alone was worth the price in my eyes.

Excellent professional painting. Came on time, did the job well, and cleaned up afterward. Flexible and helpful for last-minute tasks added on as the scope of the project evolved.

Job went very well. Two painters one day, one finished most everything the next morning. Jonathan and one helper came a couple of hours the 3rd day to finish up a few details. Very positive about minor finishing touches. Jonathan had been recommended to me by a friend who was also very pleased with the work done by Albright.

This is the first review I have ever written but I thought a good idea to commend our painter for
the good work. Allbright has done work for us over the years both inside and
outside of our home. I have friends whose houses they also paint. So we have a confidence that they will do a great job. We have never had a problem, but I am certain that they would correct any problems. Nice to see a company who does what they say they will do and take pride in their work. Regarding price, very competitive, certainly not the cheapest but they seem to be on the lower end of the price range, especially for their quality work.

Even after I provided the owner with the exact type of paint we wanted for the exteior, he selected a cheaper quality paint that was noticeably different for all exterior work. He had a crew of 4 - 5 guys working outside and after 2 - 3 days, he stated that the job was complete. Upon initial inspection, the work didn't match the estimate (stated he would paint the windows, 1 door and all other exterior) and was of extremely poor quality. Specifically, not even half of the windows were painted and no doors were touched. In addition, the work that was completed was of poor quality....many highly visible areas were not painted; they didn't scrape peeled paint, inconsistently applied paint, and didn't caulk any areas.
They had to go back over many areas and agreed to paint additional windows and a door. The gentleman that painted the interior did a nice job with no complaints.
I was extremely disappointed with the fact that upon pointing out the quality issues with Jonathan the owner, he was not very responsive. He took notes and placed tape on the areas that were incomplete and upon our re-inspection, there were still many areas incomplete. Jonathan was very polite throughout the process but did not follow directions, perform the agreed-upon services or show a responsiveness that I would expect for the amount paid.
Overall, for the price, I felt that the quality was extremely poor and had to constantly monitor the work to ensure it was completed. Definitely would not use this company again.

He came and gave me a bid, and they did it for the price he said. They did an excellent job.
