Great! They are a small shop so you save since you're not paying for advertising, overhead, fancy branded vehicles, etc. Richard and John were knowledgeable, honest and friendly. The other guys sent sales people to my house and wasted hours of my time on a quote that was double what I got with Advantage. John and Richard spent about an hour and gave me a reasonable quote for 2 units. Install of both units was done in one day. The workmen were friendly and clean. You could tell they enjoyed working with each other as I overheard them poking fun at each other (in a friendly way) while working. One unit had a problem two weeks later (defective thermal coupler). Advantage made it right with no charge. Highly recommend!!

Richard Evans is a very professional and pleasant person, and knows everything there is to know about heating and cooling units. I had been doing online research for heating and cooling units for over a year, and his price quote to me was very much in the ballpark of other quotes I was given. He and his crew were here at the exact time I was told they'd be here, worked very hard all day, keeping me informed of their progress throughout the day. They cleaned up their work areas both in the garage and back of the house. I'm very pleased with the work that Advantage Heating and Cooling did for me, and would highly recommend them to anyone. This was a very pleasant experience for me!

My experience with Advantage couldn't have been better! My AC wasn't keeping up with the summer heat and was running more than it should have been. Also, the thermostat was registering temps that were significantly higher than the actual temperature inside the house. Called Advantage on Monday to schedule an appointment. The appointment was set for Tuesday AM between 9:00 and 9:30 AM. The service tech pulled in the driveway at 9:15 AM.
Unfortunately, it had just begun to pour rain. So, the tech (Jon) told me there was a shock hazard to work on the condenser in the rain, but he'd see what he could do. After the initial diagnosis of the problem (low coolant), Jon said it was just raining too hard and he'd have to come back after the rain stopped but assured me there would be no extra trip charge. I mentioned the thermostat problem, and he came in the house to take a look. Jon pointed out that there was a large opening behind the thermostat and recommended that I close off the gap with some insulation. Jon also told me there was likely nothing wrong with my thermostat, and to try that before I changed anything.
Jon left, but called me back at 1:30 PM the same day and asked if he could return to finish the job. I met him at the house and he finished up by adding 1 lb of freon. The bill for his time and 1 lb of freon was $120. So, to conclude, Jon was punctual, didn't try to sell me anything that I didn't need, was courteous, and reasonable in his charges. Unlike other companies, there wasn't a sliding scale for the first lb of freon then a cheaper price for the second, and he also didn't try to sell me a maintenance contract but suggested that I should have the heat pump looked at before I ran it this fall.
I'll use Advantage as long as I need a Heating and Cooling Service company!

Have used this company for 3 years and they are always responsive and professional. I called them the fist time after a disappointing and expensive call by another provider. They came right out and did what the other provider had said they had done and charged me for.

They also provided freon for the unit upstairs and upon reviewing their recommendations, I have scheduled the installation of the new system for the 26th of this month. They did come through and reviewed the system and they fixed the leak in the existing system so we need to go until the 26th of this month so that I can get a new replacement. There are contingencies upon them taking the unit off because I want them to use some of parts that maybe usable and they won't know until they get it figured out, the ball part price is between $4000 and $4500.
