Communication with him was difficult and really frustrating. He was very responsive prior to our hiring him to do the repairs, and very hard to find after that.
No schedule was provided for the repair work. At my questioning about this (I wanted to be given a specific date, sooner or later, for when the work is expected to start, weather permitting), I was told to "just wait for my phone". Like indefinitely. The call has not come yet, but a team of three workers showed up one morning telling me they were sent by A-Plus to replace the roof. My impression is that they were third-party providers. This would not matter though, as long as they would be doing a good job. However, no one from A-Plus came to supervise the work or to check the quality at completion.
More than one week after the roof was replaced I unsuccesfully tried to get in touch with someone from A-Plus (anyone) to get answers to my questions. I finally received a reply, though from someone else from A-Plus than the person in charge with supervising the project, only after I complained to my home insurance company and to their adjuster.
I asked my home insurance to pay A-Plus for the roof repair that was already done and dropped any other initially planned work with A-Plus.
"That employee is no longer with the company for the reasons stated."
