Very poor communication, sold us a product that he was not certified to install, never came to the project site to manage the project or his contractors, the final straw is that asked us to pay his suppliers directly and he did not stick to the payment plan scheduled in the contract. Now he has refused to accept responsibility for the damage his contractors caused on our property. It's been five months since we signed the contract, and the work has still not been done. Louisiana Pacific,(the manufacturer of the siding) said this should have been a 3-5 day job max.

Their communication is poor, the quality of work is poor, final execution was poor, materials used were poor. They work unsafely. Very poor craftsmanship and very unprofessional.

I would not be able to recommend him.

Nice people but had very low quality work. Had to make additional repairs after they left due to damage they caused.

Gary is very skilled, but he's also reliable, which is often a hard-to-find combination. When he encounters a difficult problem, he stays with it until it's done and done well. He charges fair prices, especially since he has several decades of experience working on every possible type of project. I recommend him very highly.

They were easy to work with and did a good job.

Guys were there when they said they would be and did what they promised. Completed the work early and were super easy to deal with. We would hire them again for siding and fascia work.

They were prompt, honest, and the finished product was exactly what I had wanted. I will hire them again as needed.

Great Company and people to have work on your home

First Choice did a great job. Very easy to work with. Remodeled a shower and bath.

Work was quick and as advertised for a small siding repair. The replacement siding matched up pretty well and the property was left clean from debris when they were finished.

First the good: reasonable price, personable work crew. The not so good: - the work was below average; boards were not level with each other. When I brought that to their attention, the crew had an excuse for everything. One gentleman, the crew chief I think, said he worked on a particular section for 45 minutes. Yet when I asked them to try to correct it, it took them less than 30 minutes. I have a tree growing through the middle of the deck and before there was a perfect circle around the tree. When they did it, half the boards were cut straight, the other half was a jagged splintery circle. I am not going to have them fix it because if they thought it was adequate before, I don?t want them to mess it up even more. I am going to hire someone else to fix it. - They had no concern for my landscape or property. They trampled through landscape so much that it created a path. They laid the rotting deck wood on the ground on top of some plants. They just kept stacking it up until I finally had to ask them to take it away. When I discovered a broken pot, Instead of admitting it had broken due to the extension cord, the response was I do not know what happened?. They did not tell me about it up front and then did not own it which leads me to question their integrity. When I discovered a broken sprinkler head, the crew chief said that he had done it when he was trying to move it out of the way. My issue is that had I not seen it, they would not have mentioned it... like the pot. I will say that the second crew chief took it upon himself to take the head in order to get the needed replacement piece. He did come back the next day. Finally, I have had other companies work on the outside of my home on various projects. The previous times the owner/operations manager or someone in authority always dropped by and called to see if the work being done was up to standards. Unfortunately with this company the owner/operations manager (not sure of the title) never dropped by or sent anyone to check on the work (granted they may have had several projects going on at the same time), and rarely answered my texts. The one time he did it was about the work crew finishing up and his payment. I cannot in good conscious recommend this company after my experience due to the mediocre quality of the work, a lack of concern & excuses about the work they were actually doing, and integrity regarding my property.

We needed a deck torn down, repair on the deck band, new deck built and French doors taken out and replaced with a slider. Jarrod quoted us a reasonable price and Gary and Jason did the work. They have a great work ethic (with an occasional story or two) ð and they were there when they said they would be. We are very pleased with the quality of their work and highly recommend First Choice.

I was impressed with the initial responsiveness to my inquiry, the communication throughout the project, and the pride, work ethic and quality performance of the crew. I would definitely use them again for other projects in the future.

I was mostly ignorant about decks and decking, but they very kindly educated me and did a beautiful job on my deck. We are very pleased and will hire them to fix our other deck that is rotten and needs replaced. Hire this company!

These people were absolutely excellent to work with. They did a superb job of replacing the large screens on my enclosed porch. I would hire them again for ANY job I need done. Just super delighted with their quality of work!

Jay and his crew showed up promptly and refloored my dadâ s deck and steps in 2 days. They cleaned up and carried away all debris. As a bonus, they replaced my dadâ s birdhouse pole as a kindness. I would highly recommend again.
