Anthony abandoned us after we paid 90% of the cost for a 2 bedroom and living room addition. With not even 50% of the job complete. The quote was for $50,000 with half down. When Anthony's subcontractors did finally show up, they had no idea what they were supposed to be doing. One of the workers thought they were building a deck. This is an addition on 18ft post. We later found out the subcontractors had never done anything like this. For a project that was supposed to be done within 3 weeks, it took 3 weeks for them to take out the existing deck and put up the post. The subcontractors constantly stood around, argued with each other, and stared at things trying to figure out how to do things. We constantly tried to contact Anthony and would rarely get a response. We would ask questions and just be told " trust us". We would tell them we wanted something a certain way they would respond with , ' you don't want that'. This includes an exit door for emergencies. While we were away for the weekend, one of the helpers installed our electrical wires, switches and outlets. We were told an electrician did it. At this point we questioned when the inspector will come to see it. The next day we received a letter in the mail stating a permit needed to be pulled for this project. I called the county and they stated no permit had been pulled, and no inspections have been done and they couldn't find proof that he was licensed. We asked Anthony to please stop the work until he shows us permits and inspection reports. The next day Anthony came to our home and told us a permit is not required for the county and that if they pulled one it would cost us $700 for each inspection. We knew better. We showed Anthony the letter from the county. He stated he would pull the permit. Three weeks later a permit was pulled. Anthony then asked us for $15000 so the deck could be completed. We gave it to him. The deck was completed by other subcontractors. At this time, no one else showed up to finish our addition. There were no electrical permits pulled. The drywall was up and showed even more that some of our walls were not straight. We tried for the next 3 months to contact Anthony and when we did get an answer we just got promises. The inspector from the county stopped by and told us an engineer needs to be called and check the structure. We contacted Anthony and he stated he would get his engineer out to look at it. Weeks later the engineer came with Anthony and we were told we would get a report and that he would send a report to the county. Again, weeks later, I asked Anthony if my addition would be done by Thanksgiving. He stated, yes, that they were just waiting on the county. I called the county and they stated they have not received a report from the engineer and have heard nothing from Anthony. From this point to now, March 2021, we have not heard from Anthony or the subcontractors. We, thanks to our wonderful electrician we had used prior to this, have found someone to continue the work, At this point, we are expecting to pay $35,000 to repair all of the mistakes made by the subcontractors and finish the job.

We were left without a kitchen for 5 weeks. Repeatedly called to no answer. Finally after 5 weeks he evidently was hard up for money and sent people to finish our project. Except the shower door. We told him we wouldn't pay without it being finished .He proceeded to threaten to put a lien on our home if we didn't pay him. He claimed his part was done and he wasn't responsible for the shower door. We then asked for the name and number of the person who was "supposedly" making the shower door. This was 18 weeks in. He claims he cannot give it out because they only work for contractors and demanded the check, less the shower door. We didn't want a hassle with a lien (which I doubt he could even do being our circumstances) we just wanted them out of our life for good. I would not recommend him to build so much as a birdhouse. Anthony actually does none of the work. He takes your money and subcontracts it out. So just keep looking. We still have no shower door. .

Paid half of the project cost up front and work started and finished in about 2 1/2 weeks. We had a shower and jetted tub demoed with a large tile shower, tile floor and lined closet added. Work went fairly well not perfect but acceptable until it came time for the last thing which was a custom shower enclosure and door. This was a big selling point the Anthony the owner stressed to us as he was giving us an estimate. After 3 weeks went by an repeated calls to Anthony that no one had come to measure for our door a guy finally showed up who worked for the company supplying the shower door and said he just found out about doing our door that day. Another 2 weeks goes by and thought the door should be ready and Anthony calls and said we were not going to get a door unless we paid for the rest of the job cost(which included the door price) before he would tell them to order the door they had measured. I told him I'm not paying him anything until the job was complete and was told by him that his part was complete. We ended up telling Anthony we were done with him and paid him everything but the door enclosure price and dealt directly with the door supplier. All of the deception and lies caused us to not be able to use our shower for about 6 weeks after it was basically done sans the door enclosure.

I received a good price quote, arranged a start date, and waited. The 6 man crew arrived about 8A.M., and worked continuously till 1:15 P.M., took an hour break, then worked like rented mules till job done about 8:30 P.M. Roof looks great!
