Shady business practices! My friends had an AC unit service appointment (the unit worked fine prior mind you) and it was broken after the repairman left. They would not so much as offer a refund due to a supposed “policy” after spending $300 on a check up service for them to BREAK the unit when it was fine prior. Hottest time of the year currently and owning a husky WITHOUT access to AC and out $300 is utterly ridiculous. Once again folks, STAY FAR AWAY

Their very reasonable and they do a great job.

Have a Marvair HVAC unit that has cause much confusion with 2 other HVAC so called experts that could not fix problem with compressor not engaging. Call Kingsport HVAC and their tech was here in less than an hour and found and repaired problem in less than an hour. WOW. I have a new HVAC hero. We have 10 of these units and plan to have Kingsport HVAC maintain all of them.

My In-Laws were here visiting from Florida and the upper A/C went out, humid days and nights. My husband called on his way to work and promptly called me to tell me they would be there after lunch. THEY WERE....
He replaced the part we needed and we were chilling on the 2nd floor again.
He also had the motor for the unit if it happened to be that.....which was a great thing to have the parts we may have needed.

I was very pleased with the services of Kingsport Heating and Air Conditioning. I will use them again. I had no problems with them.

The technician arrived a little late. He was polite though. I explained my problem and he went to work. After some time, he thought my thermostat wiring was bad and he ran new wire from the thermostat to the unit. He was still having problems and said he would have to come back later cause it was getting late. Well, later that night, I reallized that now my upstairs unit wasn't working either! I called them back and he came back out the next day with another technician. The new technician was obviously more knowledgable on heat pumps. It turned out that the first technician worked on the wrong heat pump which resulted in disabling it. So, they worked to resolve the damage that the first technician had created and then finally got to look at the unit that was not working to begin with. I was watching them at this point. The second more knowledgable technician took a few screws out of the top of the broken unit and ran some kind of test (approximately 5 minutes) and said that the compressor was bad. They quoted me a new unit which I thought was very high. I told them I would get back to them. At the end of the day, all their time was spent working on the wrong unit and then having to correct their mistake. I was in the same situation I was to begin with, with a downstairs heat pump unit that didn't air condition. I could have delt with that but then they charged me for the labor to correct THEIR mistake! $240.00! I told them I thought it was ridiculous to pay for their mistake. No sympathy. So, I paid it, and I told them that I would never use them again for anything and that I would give them a very appropriate review whenever the opportunity came up. I found a much more reasonable quote from another company and needless to say, I ran with it!

They had done prior repairs and their service was excellent. They were on time promptly and did good work. The customer service is excellent. I would absolutely use them again.
