Flemings Tune Up Service

Fleming's is excellent. I like the fact that he is very very thorough and knows exactly what is going on with cars, and he does not cut corners.

I would rate them high because they are fairly priced, certainly honest, delivering work in the time frame they say they will. I just never had any problems with them. They are knowledgeable.

Flemings Tune Up Service's place is clean and the service was prompt.

I joined Angie's List because my car needed these repairs, and I am of the impression that most auto service places are not to be trusted. I was expecting to have to get a new transmission, and I think some places would have taken advantage of that, but as soon as I walked in and described the problem, the guy (Tandy Fleming, owner maybe?) said what he thought it was immediately, and he was right. My car was in and out the same day, I ended up paying maybe 1/4 of what I was expecting, whereas, if I would've gone into alot of places not knowing what was wrong, they could've easily said I needed pretty much a complete overhaul (which I was actually sorta expecting), and charge me for that. It was only 1 hour of labor so that's good, price-wise. There are probably alot of things wrong with my car, but he didn't try to push anything else on me, as most places I've been to. He even noticed I had a low tire and filled it up too. I'm EXTREMELY satisfied and would recommend this place to anyone! I live in Johnson City but it's worth the trip to Kingsport. I plan on going there for all future repairs.

He's excellent. He does great work and he's actually honest. Its hard to find a mechanic you can trust but I really do trust him. I would highly recommend him.
