All in all the removal, cutting, and clean up of this one tuple popular tree was very professional.  The crew arrive as schedule, will all equipment necessary to accomplish the task and went to work.  It was a difficult job for the tree had to be climbed and cut down in small pieces from the top to the bottom.  Folks new what they were doing and did it well.  Every branch and trunk piece was loaded and carried off - nothing was left on the property.  Their equipment was professional and up to date.  The crew was considerate of my property and took care as to not damage any thing.  I was well satisfied with their job.  The stump remained as I did not desire to have it removed at this time (wet weather) and its removal was not included in the estimate or final bill.  I recommend A1 Expert Tree Service for any tree removal requirement - large or small.

They did A lot of work in a short time. They showed up on time and did just what they said. Very satisfied and would use again.

They arrived on time this morning (May 5, 2015). The only delay had been all the rain - they needed to be able to drive heavy equipment into the back yard. They went to work right away. First they trimmed back and cleared out the huge tree that had
gradually started taking over our back deck. In fact, it was now "reaching" for our roof. They managed to trim it back off the deck
and carefully reshaped it, taking several feet from its height also. My favorite tree is now more beautifully shaped, still shades the deck and kitchen and is much safer.
Next, they tackled the multi-trunk chestnut tree. It needed to be trimmed from below (elevated), shaped, and dead limbs removed also. That tree is not near the house or garage so we did not have it cut back as much - but, it was still a time-consuming job - with great results.
We also had several tree trunks ground out so that area would be usable again. This was the first time we have had this type of work done by a professional. We found A-1 Tree Experts to be exactly what their name states: A-1 and tree experts. They did a free estimate and asked what we needed done. The owner actually listened and responded to my major concern which was to do the tree services we needed without damaging the trees any further.  I had also asked them to preserve as much shade and privacy as possible on the tree near the deck. They did exactly as requested. I am so pleased!
We found them to be punctual, professional, and customer service oriented. We are very pleased with the job they did - and the very thorough clean up they did before leaving. And yes, we would use them again.

I had an estimate in hand a couple of hours after making the initial phone call.  The owner arrived, surveyed my job and provided me with a written estimate in about 2 minutes.  He did not attempt to "sell" me his services or claim to be a better choice versus his competition.  He handed me the estimate, asked me to call if we wanted them to complete the job and was on his way.  He and group of 4-5 workers arrived a couple hours after the scheduled time but wasn't a big deal.  I was called before their scheduled time and informed they would be a little late.  The workers performed the job and cleaned up the debris in about 3 hours.  After they completed the job, they asked me if their work was satisfactory.  I was very impressed with the communication, professionalism and quality of work performed.  The cost was, well....more than I anticipated having never required this type of work before.  But, they were comparable to other quotes I received prior to the job so I gave them a "A" on price.

They didn't even send us a bill until several weeks later.  How many companies do you know would do that?  Very professional cleaned up after their selves as well.

Mr Gilliam arrived at the promised time and evaluated multiple very large 100+ year old trees for removal, trimming and sloppier cabling. We made an appointment to perform the work subject to weather since very large equipment was necessary. They removed a 75 foot lightning-struck hemlock section at a time using a bucket truck and crane. They also removed two 50-60 foot dead trees, one of which was next to a power line. They completed all of their work in a single day and damaged no other stubs or trees.

Prompt when giving estimate, showed exactly what he would recommend and why.  Completed work just as described and cleaned up everything.  Very pleased.

They did good work at a reasonable price.  I have used them twice.

.They were very expensive but very prompt and did a really good job. He came out on a Sunday to prop it up so it wouldn't fall on my fence.  Then was back out on the next day to take it down. Everything else was excellent the only complaint I had was the price. Everything else was great.

.They have top equipment including very tall crane, and grinder.  They completed this enormous job in one day.  Clean up was good. Damage to yard was kept to a minimum considering the size of the job and the location. They kept to there quoted estimate. Very Professional.

They are not easy to get in touch with. I have probably used them for twelve years. The thing that I like about them is that they are where we live. Lot of our trees is very large and big. They have been very cautious, careful and had never taken down things that I thought would do without getting hurt or something in. They are very professional in approaching and I have never had any bad experiences with them. They are very competent and are not afraid of tackling the problems in job. They are dependable. They do full service like cut down trees, grind stumps and also do that in my home and property annually. Their price is very competitive.

David was the one we dealt with from start to finish. He was quick with the estimate, and then quick to do the work when we scheduled it. Site was very clean when he was finished.

Went well; they called the day before they were actually to come and do the work. The clean-up was wonderful: Very little debris was left from some major work.
