Joe was fantastic. He responded and arrived as stated. It is difficult to find a reliable electrician and so pleased to have found Livewire Electric!!

Joe did an excellent job on our electrical needs! We had 3 lights that use to work but had quit working, a new overhead light to install in the kitchen an outside overhead ceiling fan to install on our screened in porch. Joe returned call promptly, arrived for the appointment as scheduled, completed all repairs quickly, professionally and my husband and I highly recommend him for all your electrical needs. Joe did an excellent job for us. He was prompt, courteous and respectful. He worked quickly and cleaned up around his work areas. His service was outstanding and I would certainly hire him again for any electrical project or repair job.

Some of the circuit breakers were going bad and would turn off under load.  They also were getting hot so it was a safety issue.  Joe Mageira of LiveWire Electric came out within  a couple days of our call to evaluate the problem and then returned 2-3 days later and took care of it.  He did a great job and was very conscientous.

Excellent. He came the same day I called, on time. Quickly found the problem, had the parts needed in the truck, and generally made short work of the whole thing. It was everything you'd hope for in a visit from the electrician.

Contacted provider to inquire about a probable short in a double light switch in my basement.  He was busy and said it would be about a week before he could look at it.  I was fine with that.  He also said if he was in my neighborhood doing another job and had time, he would call and come then.  He called once, and I wasn't home.  He called again a few days later and I was home and he was there in 5 minutes.  After looking at the switch box and my telling him what it was doing, he knew immediately what the problem was. Fixed it and has worked perfectly since then. He was very professional and personable, and I will use him again when the need arises.

Super happy with Joe and his work. I sent a message on Angie's List for a quote and he called me back the same day to schedule a free estimate. Joe showed up today, on time, and we talked about the best way to get the new wire run into the kitchen. He had time, so he went ahead and got started right after the quote! He works fast and tidy. He needed to cut a hole in the wall under the breaker box to feed the wire, so he added an extra outlet there - which looks great (level & the hole was cut just big enough for the plastic insert box.) Joe was also very friendly and professional. I asked if I could watch him work and he not only agreed, but also talked me thru what he was doing. 10 out of 10, would hire again.

Joe was very professional and personable.  He worked quickly and efficiently, and I am very satisfied with his work.  He adjusted the motion light perfectly.  The only glitch in the whole process was in establishing communication at the beginning.  A couple of missed calls on both our parts resulted in a delay in getting the work started, but once we made the right connections, everything went well.  I will definitely contact him again when I need electrical work done.

This could not have been a better experience.  Joe returned my call promptly, kept me updated on his timing and was able to meet me at the house and restore my hot water!  It was an easy fix but the water heater company insisted on an electrician testing it.  While he was here we went over pricing on a couple of my future project and I fully expect to call him back for additional work.  He was reasonable and quick.  The other prices quoted seemed very reasonable as well.

Checked and verified that wiring that was affected by lightning was still usable. Checked inside breaker box and answered all my questions I asked. He was quick and got the job done very quickly on a saturday!

After renovations, we wanted to replace all of the electrical outlets / receptacles and wall switches in the area.  I had purchased the needed receptacles and switches hoping we could have an electrician friend assist us.  Too much time elapsed so I was looking for someone to do the work for me, wanting to get the room back in order.  

I saw Livewire Electric on Angie's list and decided to give them a call.  I left a message in the AM and by noon Joe called back. Since the job was not too large, he had a few hours and asked if he could come at that time. Joe was great!!  He was here right when he said he would be and completed the work timely.  We actually had him look at (and fix) another receptacle that was loose in another part of the house.  Nice guy!  Would recommend him and will use him again for other needs!

I called Livewire on June 15th, 2015 to ask him to come out and check our smoke detectors because 3 in our lower level did not have a green light.  He came out the same afternoon right after returning my call and found that the 3 lower level smoke detectors had never been wire to the house power or rest of the detectors.
We asked him for an estimate for doing some additional work and he provided that in a timely manner and we scheduled him to come out the following week.
Joe arrived right on time and performed the work excellently.
We would definitely recommend Joe and would have no hesitation in calling him for any other electrical work we need.

While getting a new roof installed we discovered a new short in a light fixture right above where new fasteners were being installed for the new metal roof. Seemed a likely that a fastener and punctured a wire in the ceiling. Complicating the issue was that the involved ceiling had no attic as it is a cathedral ceiling.  Being a faulty switch was unlikely, but possible, Joe quickly ascertained that the culprit was actually a loose ground wire in the switch box that likely never been installed switch and was shorting out against one of the "hot" wires on the three-way switch.  The guilty ground wire was likely shaken into it's shorting state due to the new vibration going on with the roofers install project.   This was a very unique and unlikely outcome that left us all surprised and grateful at it's simple solution.
