My dryer broke and I went over there to see what they had, picked out our model, and scheduled delivery. They were here for delivery almost down to the minute they said they would be here. Very great service! I use them for all my home improvement needs.

Kitchen and Bathroom Remodel
Scheduling was difficult since I had to explain over and over that we might be in Virginia or Tennessee due to moving. They never got it right. The crew was mostly Hispanic and there were a few communication issues. I assume all were legal workers but left that to Home Depot to determine. The installation was not satisfactory and the complaint resolution process took five months and ended in a stalemate. The home depot and their installation company felt that I needed to be an expert in carpet because they stated I did not ask the right questions. I went to Home Depot to interface with the installer so I would be advised and assisted by them. I did not expect to need to become a carpetmeister to give instructions on every aspect. I am unhappy with the stairs and the transition from the entry flooring to the carpet. I would like the steps redone and the transition protected with a transition strip. I do not want to hear "that is the industry standard" as an excuse for poor work and a lack of attention to detail. Home Depot refuses to take any action other than a nip and tuck here and there which would probably end up being worse.

I got a military discount since I am a retired military officer. They are pretty good. They are not as good as the other store. They don?t have as many people on the floor as the other store has. Their prices are pretty comparable to the other store. I go to whichever store that gives me the best price. I like their building. There is not much difference between Home Depot and another store. My overall experience with them was not outstanding, but was pretty good. If there is some problem, then I take it back to the store. Their punctuality is good and so is their professionalism. If need be, then I will use their services again.
