This facility is an automated drive-through wash facility with a blow dryer at the end of the line. For the price paid ($3.00 Summer Special) it does an excellent job on the main part of the vehicle, including windows, but the wheels and tires suffer. To the credit of this facility, they do have a shaded self-serve area with free vacuums, free floor mat "washing machine", free microfiber cleaning rags, and free window cleaner. No time limit so you can detail your own vehicle. However, there is no water supply to clean tires and wheels. Despite the few negatives, this is a great deal and it is very fast for those that may need quick wash for a weekend trip. An added bonus is outstanding and friendly staff and on-site manager, typical of Tennessee.

I've been to Southern Classic numerous times for their wash services. We typically go for the $16 or $30 packages. Depending on the person finishing up the work, they do good to great work. I've been a few times and the person doing the final cleaning seems in a hurry and they miss a couple of spots here and there detailing the interior. A couple of times we've been for the $16 package and I feel guilty because they have spent so much time cleaning every nook and cranny. Sometimes I've gotten better results from the $16 package than the $30 package. Overall it's really hit or miss for that reason, but we keep going back because for the price they do a good job.

They always do a great job, and we are consistently pleased with their work. We keep going back. Previously they have changed air filters,cabin filters, bulbs and windshield wipers for us.

Lets start I have a two seater car so not that big . I paid for all the services detailing bug removal , the works . I git there 10 mins beforw two other people and was last to leave . The workers inside were so busy complaining about their job my car just sat there . When I got in my car the consol and seats were still dirty ..... this is the second time this has happened here . I complained the first time this happened 2 mo ths ago and took back . The girl that I told it was a redo rolled her eyes at me and said okay whatever . Thank goodness another car wash is opening a block away

Great VIP wash on my 2010 Dodge Dakota 4x4. It has a black metallic finish that is subject to showing water spots if not properly dried, and I've never had this problem at Southern Classic as they hop right on it when it comes out of the auto wash. They also see to it that they go light on the tire dressing as requested, as it is bad to sling back up on the fenders after leaving the facility. The first time I ever took it there, I had to come back after I got home because of the splash from the excess. They didn't turn a word, and cheerfully cleaned it up at no charge. Don't forget to tip these folks well because they earn it.

They do a very nice job of cleaning the inside- wash windows and vac carpeting. Wash is automatic with cloth brushes and they wipe down the outside including wheels and door jambs. A lot of service for $15.

I have been to this place three times for their basic interior/exterior cleaning. The first time the car was immaculate, but the past two times it seems like they've rushed through it (not vacuumed thoroughly, water spots etc).

I pulled in for a car wash and an oil change. The car wash was supposed to be $19.00 and the oil change was to be 59.99, roughly 80.00. I went to the counter 30 minutes later (they had called my name that my car was finished) and the bill was 150.00, seventy dollars more than what they had told me. When I questioned it the young girl working said my car used more oil than the 59.99 fee called for and also they changed an air filter without asking me. Above that they charged me extra because the oil filter in my type of car was "fragile" so they added an extra 5.00 for the handling fee. My car wash was to be 19.00 but they charged me 26.00, when I asked about this they said I had asked for my trunk to be vacuumed and it was cheaper to spend 7.00 dollars more for the next package rather than the fee for vacuuming the trunk ( Was the trunk going to be more than 7.00 to vacuum? It was empty). When I questioned the service charges they were very rude. Other customers had complained about their services as well and now I understand the complaints. I later called back and got to speak to another girl. She told me that they had had several complaints and with gas and oil prices rising they had to charge separate for the oil in addition to the oil change price they quoted. Never again will I do anything with this company in the Kingsport or the Johnson City locations. I plan to call business reporting agency Monday morning and hope that the local newspaper will let me post an article as well. Please ask all prices and fees and surcharges etc upfront if you ever use this company! I have never been treated more poorly by a company I was doing business with. I will tell everyone I know and will post this on every website I come across that allows complaints and injustices. Southern Classic is a rip off!

I have used them several times. Most times they have done a good job. Once or twice, they haven't. The car windows were streaked and areas left unvacuumed. I think it depends on which employee does your car. They have some that seem to be conscientious and others that are simply in a hurry to get the cars through.
