Snowden's Roofing is a very dependable company. Lynn did EVERYTHING he said he would do. Said he would come at 12:30pm to do an estimate (That's when he pulled into the driveway.) Said crew would be here around 7:30am to start (They were on the roof by then) Job was finished by end of day. New roof on, lawn clean. Other than the color of my roof, you couldn't tell anyone had been here. In my opinion, this is the only name and phone number I would recommend to anyone !!!! Great job, Lynn and Crew.

This was the third time we have used this company and again we were very satisfied. The workers were efficient, did an excellent job, and cleaned up every bit of the mess and hauled it away the same day. We highly recommend them for roofing jobs.

It went well. They arrived early each morning and worked hard all day. It was easy to reach someone by phone when needed and the work looks good.

Harry and his son were assigned this job and they arrived on the morning agreed upon.  They had to do more work than originally anticipated.  Found a new problem with every board which needed to be replaced.  They ended up spending two weeks on the job.  Found termite damage which required them to practically rebuilt the support beams.  Harry did an outstanding job.  He said he was doing it as if it was his own.  The job ended up costing more than the original estimate.  When Mr. Snowden came to inspect the job he said it cost $800 more than the contracted amount.  I did not have to pay more than the contract amount but I paid some more because of the outstanding job.

Two men came to complete the work and were very professional.  They cleaned up everyday when they were finished and even put our Christmas lights back up after the job was completed.  The price was under the other estimates by a significant amount and seemed very fair.  I am very pleased and highly recommend this company.

They came as scheduled and got the job done in part of an afternoon.  It has been over a year and I've had no problems.

They were very professional to deal with. Michael came out and quoted the job for specifically what I wanted done. Price was very good. The crew hanging the siding and trim took their time and paid attention to detail. Very satisfied with everything. Will use again.

Good job, fan turns on when attic gets above 85 degrees. Attic is much cooler. After 4 years no problems no roof leaks, fan performing well

Snowden had the middle price from three quotes but was chosen because I had used them on a previous job years ago. After I selected the type material, the job was scheduled within two weeks. The crew of six worked diligently all day to remove the old roof and install the new one. This is my preliminary score on the installation; the final score will depend on how well the roof takes months of weather abuse.

The service went well. They had the staff to do the work and they got it done quickly. It was a big job and they got it done in about a day. They were efficient with their work and didn't try to cut corners.

Mr. Snowden did the estimate himself. Friendly and gave good suggestions. Price was reasonable.

Put us off for WEEKS after estimate. We requested certain roofingand brand, plus 3/4 plywood instead of chipboard. Was agreed upon. Mr. Snowden contracted out the work to a crew that trampled both my front flower beds, used left over tiles from a large job they had done, did not use the 3/4 plywood, and unknown at the time, left a huge hole in the upstairs bedroom and wall board on the stairs.. (They just roofed over the damage. Did not come inside to fix what they knew they had done, but followed my husband to the office to collect their payment from Snowden,

The crew showed up and said the roof would be done the same day...a worry since it was supposed to rain. They did complete it in one day, however there were several bumps in it when complete that were not there before they started work. When the old shingles were pried up, it loosened nails in the boards and left the humps. You can stand on these humps now and they will go down. They were called and came back, but never fixed it. And now, after numerous more calls to the owner, with no return calls, we have been unable to get the bumps fixed. They did have the best price, but the quality is not there....we would NOT use them again.

Contacted yet again...9/9/13 and was told Mike would contact my husband the same day, which he did not. I contacted again today, 9/11/13 and was told that Mr Higgins had discussed the problems with my husband...which he has NOT...I told her I was contacting an attorney and she basically said for me to go for it...what awesome (not) customer service. My attorney will be contacting them now!!

They attended to our needs promptly. The workmanship was excellent as
best we could determine, as we closely observed the entire job.
Additionally, the owner closely observed the work in progress. They
promptly addressed one additional small detail two weeks later, and we
are very pleased to recommend this company to anyone searching for a

When you have an initial meeting with Snoden's Siding, Roofing and Windows Co., Inc. all goes well. The owner comes to your home to evaluate the work needed and the situation involved. Upon request, he will give you an estimate which is a bit lower than the competition out there. Remember the old adage: and quot; you get what you pay forand quot;. Also, get a good look at the owner because you will not see him again, nor speak with him, unless a future project is in the works. The shingle repair was done but there was more work needed which was done at a later date. Our soffit was repaired, however, within several days there were birds rebuilding their nests and it leaked directly in front of our front door! The dislodged piece of guttering wasn't reassembled until a later date. The crew of workers had to come out twice to repair their initial repair. More roof work was completed to help stop the leaking due to the seams not being put in place correctly. When the soffit was attended to the second time around the seams were worked on and there weren't any leaks. Also, the one piece of guttering in our yard was eventually reassembled back onto our house. Basically as you can see, it was the repeat visits, wrong-the-first-time service and inability to successfully connect with the people. Communication, in my opinion, is not a strong point within the company. Here was the cycle of frustration we experienced: find that a repair was done incorrectly, call their office number and ask for the owner, get one of two women (one nice, one rude) on the phone who stated she would leave him a message, wait for a call back for days (not hours), get no call, call the office number back again...leave a message...wait. Very frustrating to feel like a low priority. Eventually, one of the ladies would call us back to set up a date/time for return services. On the specific date there would be no crew, no services and no call. We would call back to the office to complain the date was a no call and no show. Another date and time would be set with no apology. Here was one and quot;bizarreand quot; action taken, more than once: the crew would just show up on a day no work was scheduled to be performed, work on the house and leave out. You didn't have a clue unless you just happen to notice! The undercurrent to these actions are safety and security. Wrapping things up, I hope this review was helpful to you in making your choice in roofing, siding or windows. We choose not to repeat business with Snowden's Roofing, Siding and Windows, Co., Inc. due to poor quality service repairs and poor communiations between customer and owner. Thank you.

The workers were great, the job was done very quickly once they showed up.
I just purchase a home last spring. This summer the roof was extremely hot, so I wanted to have a ridge vent installed. Since I was just having a ridge vent added to a 2-year-old roof, not too many roofing companies would even give me an estimate. Snowden's took the job, charged exactly what they said they would charge, but it was a 2-month wait. They basically said they would get to it, between other jobs because they were so busy doing other total roof replacements. Now I cann't really blame them, roofing is definitely subjected to scheduling issues because of the weather and it was a relative small job. All the same I was a little irritated that I had to keep calling to remind them. On the flip side, I also had to call them to remind them afterwards that I owed them money (they forgot to bill me). So all in all, not the most reliable scheduling, but it is a small price to pay for having quality work performed (it does look nice, and we have had two MAJOR storms since then with no problems, so I would say it was done right). I will update report- if two years from now things change.

He was so good at evaluating our problem with shingles blowing off our roof over a period of years that we were able to get our insurance company to cover it. We got a whole new roof. He has roofers who are really fast. They were on the job early and stayed late and they got the job done. He supervised and assured that they were doing a good job. They cleaned up well after themselves.

The gentleman who owns the company is the one who came out and gave us an estimate, and he was very friendly and very helpful. He was also willing to work with our insurance company and he didn't require a payment to be made to him ahead of time. He was willing to work with the insurance company by gong ahead and doing the work and then being paid by them. His price was around $3200 for the job. He was just a very nice, friendly and easy to get along with guy.
