Welcome... Shaw & Shanks Architects, P.C. is a professional corporation, certified on April 11, 1986, and established and registered in accordance with the Tennessee General Corporation Act. We have a cumulative total of over seventy-five years of practical training and continuing education in the field of architecture. These years of experience are what give us the necessary tools and confidence to coordinate complicated design projects Shaw & Shanks Architects, P.C. and our consultants maintain high standards of quality and completeness in both plans and specifications with the ultimate goal of providing each client with an outstanding finished building within imposed budget and schedule constraints. Our passion also compels us to challenge ourselves, our clients and the community to create buildings that would instill pride in the community and neighborhoods. At Shaw & Shanks Architects, P.C we are a strong advocates of sustainable design and green building practices. Our firm’s principals Thomas W. Shanks is a LEED Accredited Professionals and Timothy W. Shaw was a Participant in 2007 LEED Seminar at Emory University (Green Facility Design).
