Plymouth Ridge Apartments

My wife, one week old baby, and I rented a 3 bedroom apt from Plymouth Ridge Apartments. Within 1 1/2 weeks there were bed bugs coming into our apt. from the ceiling area. Within 3 months the apt. was uninhabitable; my wife bearing many bite marks that turned to scars and our baby at risk. Later the management verbally agreed to treat specifically for bed bugs, but their contracted professional pest control company only did a routine spraying. Simultaneously, we had hired an independent professional pest control company to inspect our apt for bed bugs. They documented the bed bugs and reported their observations to the management. Later when we questioned management  concerning the date of the pest control spraying for the bed bugs, the management looked in the file and said they had not treated for bed bugs. The  2nd and 3rd floor neighbors directly above our apt. also had bed bugs. City Code requires the owner "make an attempt" to remedy any pest issue; which the management choose not to. We did not get our deposit back. Management also declined to allow us to have our infected furniture professionally pest control treated in the apt. so we would not infect our next living environment. Therefore we lost all our furniture. This was a heavy financial lose.
