Bike turned in for inspection, adjustments as needed and repair as needed on Jun 23. Shop agreed to have the bike ready the following week on Jun 28 or failing that Jun 30. I called the 30th and the shop asked for an extension to Jul 5. I called Tuesday Jul 5 and the shop asked for an extension to Thursday, Jul 7. The shop finally called with the bike ready for pick-up on Jul 8. Shop aware of the need for the bike at the agreed upon date in order to use in bike event that week. Shop aware that the bike bought at their shop. Service not done timely. Service cost 42+$, in my view quite expensive in view of the very limited service provided. (oriiginal estimate 30 to 40$ I expected in the 30$ range with some sort of discount for extreme lateness of service). No apology offered for lateness until I sharply expressed my displeasure. No offer initiated by shop to reduce fee in view of the circumstances and the quite minor work done.
Description of Work: Bike inspected, cleaned, minor adjustments to brakes, gear shifter. Chain and sprokett cleaned, oiled.
