Metcalf's Tree Service

Have used Metcalf on several previous occasions. He has all the necessary equipment and numerous helpers. Tree came down on Wednesday about 3 pm. Was cleaned up completely by Saturday at 4. More expensive but does a great job. Highly recommend Mr. Metcalf.

Called and the response was almost immediate.  Came out and looked over the tree I had called about.  Since I was at work he called and discussed taking the tree down and gave a very fair estimate.  Also gave price in grinding the stump which I thought was very reasonable.  Had not called about the other tree but suggested trimming it back from the house.  Again the price to do so was so reasonable I thought I could not afford not to have it done since it was in dire need.  Took awhile before they could come out so they would not mess up the lawn but once there took the tree down in no time.  Had a chipper and took care of the limbs.  Loaded the large pieces and took away.  Was told they would not clean up from grinding the stump and was told it would be messy.  And it was.  Will be my responsibility to clean it up.

I called several tree trimming companies and Metcalf's quoted us the lowest price.  Additionally, we had more than one good personal reference for them from neighbors and friends.  They showed up the same day I called for an estimate and came back promptly when scheduled to perform the work.  No surprises and the trees look great.  I would us them again.

It went very well with Metcalf's Tree Service. They did a really good job. Everything was excellent. I had no problems at all.

Mr. Metcalf (Rick) is very professional, he is even licensed to do work for the TVA. I have used Rick twice now after seeing him in the neighbor hood working on some trees for my neighbor. Both times Rick came out and explained what trees I had and which ones I should be worried about and not worried about. Surprisingly a couple of trees I was concerned about he told me were fine due to the root nature of the tree. He actually talked me out of cutting some trees down and saved me money. Both times I have had Rick's crews out here working they have cut down one tree and cut it into pieces for me to split after seeing I had a fireplace. All I had to do later was rent a log split-er at East TN Rent All and I now have plenty of wood for the winter.
The first time I had them out the accidentally damaged part of my chain link fence and Rick was quick to compensate me for it, Even said that if I needed help getting the rail changed out myself to call him and he would send his guys out to help. Also said if the deduct for the damage wasn't enough after getting the materials that he would come back out and reimburse me the extra.
This Company is VERY professional and HIGHLY SKILLED!! I would recommend them to anyone... and I have allot already!!
