Mr. Lambert was responsive to my call and called me back the same day as my call. He said when he would be able to look over the plumbing and followed through with what he said. A few days later he gave me a price to re-plumb the house using PEX. He also repaired a drain line that needed to be repaired made of cast iron that he saw needing attention. An additional faucet was added outside. He and his son worked as a team. They were fast and their work looks sharp. And what a difference in water flow and pressure. You cannot go wrong with this company! Their work is quality and their price is fair. They earned my trust.

Tom is a dependable, professional guy.  He'll show up when he says he will and get the job done in a prompt manner.  When I joined Angie's List, I looked  him up to see how he was rated, since I've used him numerous times.  I was glad (but not surprised) to see he has an A rating.  I have referred him to friends as well.  No reservations recommending this company.

He is very fast and efficient.  His rates are exceptional.  I noticed another reviewer stated that he wasn't that friendly, however, I think it is possibly perception based on the fact he is a Yankee!  He has never been rude, but I can see how that sometimes those of us in the south prefer a warm and fuzzy encounter.  He is a top notch plumber, with better than average rates, who goes above and beyond to meet the customers needs.

It was an emergency situation and they came and took care of it right away. They are local. Our line had broken from the cub to our house and there was this enormous amount of water and it was leaking. We were going to be charged for it. He came out and fixed it right away. If you wanted a fast person and good service, contact them.

My landscaper inadvertently disconnected our well connection late on a Saturday (to his defense, the line was not where we expected and was only about 3 inches under the surface). I called Lakeview as the 5th option on my list of referrals. The plumber I prefer to use was out of town. He referred me to another plumber who, unfortunately, doesn't work on wells. That plumber gave me 3 additional names. Of the three I tried to call, one never returned my call and one was already on an emergency call. Mr Lambert seemed to be put out and was less than friendly. At that point I would have moved on to someone else, but unfortunately I was running out of options and was desperate to try to get the water back on that day. He reluctantly agreed to come at a rate of $95/hr. He made me feel we were inconveniencing him. I'm sure we were, but it's unprofessional to imply such to a potential customer. He gave us a list of reasons for not hooking us back up. Several were legitimate, not the least of which was the fact that the power line to the well pump was also cut. However, I got the impression that he simply didn't want to do the job on a Saturday, even though I had agreed to pay his $95/hr premium. He made no effort to contact an electrician. He was not friendly and seemed totally unconcerned that we'd be without water for 3-4 days, that we'd have to pay to rent a hotel or live without water during that time, or that we had been expecting company that evening. His solution may have ultimately been the best solution, but his manner was unprofessional and lacking any compassion for our situation. He seemed much more interested in fussing about our landscaper working on a Saturday than helping us get our water back on.
To his credit, he did take our call on a Saturday and did come out as promised that evening. He did not charge me (which was fair, considering he did no work). He also deferred another job to get to my job first thing Monday, instead of waiting until Tuesday (which was his original plan). He also helped us figure out which utility district our water was with (not the one we thought) and managed to help us get the utility technician out the same day, for which I was very grateful. I cannot complain about his work. He had me hooked into city water on Monday. While he does fine work, and I appreciate his work on such short notice, I would be hesitant to use him again in the future based on his lack of professionalism.

I am an out of town property maqnager for a commercial building in Johnson City, Tn. I got a call from the local water department that a line had burst serving the building. I was referred to this utility contractor by a local general plumber that we had used in the past. I contacted him and he quoted a price. Since I was out of state and thought this was an extreme emergency, I assumed he was quoting a fair price and gave him authorization to proceed. I did go to the job site on the day the work was to begin. He and a helper spent approximately six hours on site for the repair and ann estimated one hour getting a small rental track hoe. When I got his bill of $2,450 I was shocked. I spoke to other utility contractors both locally and in my area who indicated that the price quoted was two to three times what should be typical for this job. When I spoke to the contractor he indicated that his price was for then job and would be the same even if it had only took him an hour. I have never met a contractor that does not base his pricing on time and materials. Needless to say I would never use this contractor again and could never refer him to anyone.
