First let me say I asked them to call me when they were coming out and next thing I know I see their truck in front of my property to do the job we hired them to do!! I questioned them why didn't I get a call and Tim gave me the meanest look like I was in the wrong for asking that? From that point on Tim did not treat me well! Remember Tim, I am the customer and you should treat your customers with respect! The big issue we had was they under estimated our sq footage, and came up short with how many bags of mulch for our property we needed to redo our flowers beds. The Mulch they used was not quality at all, and we had to redo our garden beds with new mulch and cover bare spots in garden beds just one weeks after they put down the new mulch. Ridiculous!! Especially how much it costed for us to hire Englewood to do! Areas in flower beds were not fully covered with new mulch they left areas with open bare spots! Not satisfied with their weed control contract either. Some weeds died, but other weeds continue to live and spread, and our clover is worse than before we hired them. They never called to see how they did on mulch job or weed control to see if we were satisfied. I just canceled the contract this morning for weed control. We can do a better job ourselves!

Very professional

Showed up late, but worked hard until well after dark. Did not get all leaves and debris out of the beds, but the edging and mulch was well- applied. I have also had them re-design and completely transform my back yard, and this work was done without compare. I LOVE my yard now. It was a mass of poison ivy and sasafrass trees- now it is an oasis. Thanks to Tim's designs, this was an amazing transformation (that was about $28,000). But worth it.

Landscapers arrived on time and took about day of work.

They are always very professional, courtious, and knowledgeable.  We have used them for several years.  Highly recommend!

I will continue to use Englewood through out the remainder of the year as I travel with my job 6 days a week and it is nice to have some one take care of the yard so the little time I have at home I can enjoy outdoors rather than working the one day I have off.

The estimate was a little on the higher side than the others, but it was a lot of work and they were excellent in keeping us informed of the progress and any setbacks. The completed project is great! So happy we went with this company, even though it was a little more expensive, the outcome was worth it.

No evidence of a mowing I was billed for which I will not dispute here- but they say they "cut lawns long" which means the lawn looks bad before they manage to come back.
I would not use this service again because they are not honest with their billings. I was invoiced for a date when no services were performed which is a sign of lax book keeping and charging based on a scheduling system not the actual days services were performed. I prefer that invoices line up 1-1 with dates services were actually performed.

Englewood takes care of our lawn maintenance in the summer. They are great! Always always here on Monday mornings, usually the same time. They do a great job of mowing. I am a stay at home mom and 7 months pregnant. If they ever see me cleaning up toys (we also have a two year old) they quickly tell me not to worry about it and straighten the yard themselves... what a treat! We'll definitely continue to use their services. They are professional, quick and take time to get into all the cracks.... under the trampoline, beside the sandbox, even in the fort on the bottom of the play set. We love Englewood!

We are pleased with the final product and would use them again in the future.

All planning and installation work was very timely and complete. At our request, the Englewood landscape architect designed a plan based on our input, and was very helpful in suggesting ways to improve some aspects of the yard. When we were satisfied with the design and cost, the landscapers were on site within less than a week, and worked at it full-time to complete it within just one more week. They were all hard-working, thorough, friendly, quick to explain everything they were doing and get our approval on everything as it was done. The final price was per the original contract, and while it was not cheap we believe we got our money's worth!

They were very professional. They did the work while we were out of town and they didn't let us know beforehand. So a drain was put in the wrong place, but they came out immediately and put another one in the right area. This wasn't the French drain itself, it was a drain on the top. They were very good. I would recommend them.

They started off great but steadily declined as the season progressed. The owner told me that they got an and quot;importantand quot; job that may have been over their head so the best resources were diverted to that commercial job. My yard suffered as a result. Little to no extra effort was suggested or done. Some appointments were missed or delayed. Communication and billing practices were very poor. I would not use this company in the future. I wish them well but they need business counseling in order to grow. I suspect in their present direction, that the future is bleak. I think they have smart technical people on board but no management to guide them. There are better choices out there. Honor is everything.

It went well. They had some problems getting the right crew out to my house at first. The first crew didn't have enough experience to install pavers, but into the project they seemed to realize the mistake and sent out a second crew that took over for the first crew and did a great job. Everything was just as promised, in the time frame promised. The end product looks great. I gave them a B for price, because I believe the cost of installing the paver walkway was higher than it needed to be. Having said that, Englewood's price was also the lowest bid of any of the five other estimates I got, by about $500. I would have given everybody else a C.

They started off well but it progressively got worse. Sections of my lawn were regularly scalped. Corners and strips were often missed and I had to complete the job. I had to ask numerous times to get the mulch beds weeded and when it was done, it was never complete. I felt as if I was paying for premium lawn care but got the minimum effort. I will not use them in the future.

They are not prompt; they are over priced. At first, they did not do a satisfactory job. They did when I kept on calling. They did come back and rectify the situation. It took them several months. I would not use them again.

I was getting a house built, and he, his crew, and his wife's Girl Scouts crew came out and did the landscaping for the house for free. I thought I could use him when I needed some work done. I built my house about six months later, and I called him for a quote along with other companies. He was reasonable, and so, I hired him. I have been using him ever since. He does a good job for me. He and his crew always leave me a note stating when they came out, what they did, and when they would be back. They are good at communicating. They show up and they do what they have to do. They have a personal representative that I get to know even though they have a lot of people.

Tim showed up early one morning just before I was leaving for work. He began digging the foundation himself until his guys arrived later with all the materials.

The wall was completed that afternoon and the area was cleaned up; the wall looks fantastic.

Great experience; will definitely use again.
