Debra Paessler Designs

Our home was built in 1989 so our 25 year old kitchen had well served its purpose. A kitchen is the main artery of the home and we had put off the task of updating this central area of our home for as long as we could. It was time. Based on a recommendation from a friend, I contacted Debra Paessler Interiors to assist us through this daunting process. Where to begin? We had decided to open up several walls on our downstairs floor and the entire kitchen layout placement needed a revamp. Debra came to our home and saw the need and helped us form a plan. Once we finalized our new kitchen and family room layout, Debra orchestrated the start date and demo. A few months later, our new kitchen renovation began. We loved our general contractor. Quality work was performed and workers were on site at our home when they said they would arrive. The initial demo, wall placement, drywall work, plumber, and electrical work were all managed by the contractor. Debra also introduced us to a custom cabinet maker who fulfilled all our kitchen cabinet requirements and beyond. With Debra’s help we chose our cabinet color by matching our back splash. We needed plenty of storage and with Debra’s plan and our cabinet maker’s skill were so pleased with our new kitchen cabinetry. Our kitchen storage closet was transformed into multi-level storage drawers with top area for hanging of our pots and additional pantry storage. More kitchen storage was a primary requirement for us and we got it! Debra was great to provide guidance in selection of the details like back splash, faucet, granite, cabinet hardware, paint color, appliances, and accents. She guided us to options for these items, but always allowed us some latitude for incorporating selections of our own sourcing that were within our design pallet and budget. We just walk into our new kitchen and family room area now in utter awe not believing this is a room in our home. It is simply the dream kitchen and family area we cannot believe is ours to enjoy. We are so pleased with the work Debra has done for us and all the professionals she brought into our home to complete the renovation project. We now wonder why we waited so long to update. We will definitely be calling on Debra as we continue to renovate our home.

Debra is the Wonder Woman of home design.  We purchased a 1983 home with a 1983 kitchen.  The kitchen needed gutting and a complete redesign.  We were fortunate to find Debra through Angie's List.  
Deb is the ultimate professional.  She worked with us at every step along the six month journey.  When challenges presented themselves, she had a new suggestion that offered a solution. Deb coordinated all the work so that the project progressed as smoothly as possible.  She knows the professionals that do quality work.  She's incredibly pleasant under all circumstances and her infectious laugh helps keep things in prospective.

Deb did an excellent job working with us to understand our tastes and then implement them in her design. She was happy to work with us and include our suggestions in her design. Her choices for the major decisions such as countertops, cabinets, kitchen and bath hardware, flooring, and wall colors all met or exceeded our expectations when installed. In addition, she went above and beyond by providing some additional oversight of the subcontractors that probably should have been the job of the general contractor. We would enthusiastically recommend her to anyone.

She manages all the contractors and coordinates work flow well. She is a pleasure to work with and I would highly
recommend her. 

We LOVE our new kitchen. I could not be happier with it. She really helped us think about what would work for us and what we needed or didn't need, found us some really cool light fixtures.

She was very reasonable and good. She did a really good job as she planned it well. She looked after the project very well and we were very pleased with her. She asked me what I wanted to begin with and got a really good feel of my tastes and interests and tried to incorporate that in her work. The price was fine too.
