Average, they required a lot of direction and it took them several visits to complete a small job. They performed what was asked of them; however, I should have requested a firm price bid for the work since they took longer than expected.

"We appreciate [member name removed] response. Back in the summer we were notified of this project. It involved clearing out undergrowth in a several hundred square foot wooded area. Some of the undergrowth had been there for years so most of it was dug out roots and all. The project was strictly manual labor. To make things more complicating the project was located in the rear of the back yard . The house sat up on a steep hill with a driveway that prohibited truck and trailer access so the brush had to be drug some 300' down hill to load at the street below. There were several days of bad weather as well. Considering the location of the project, the labor in clearing the area, the time involved and trips to the dump I feel things went quite well for the labor rate of fifteen dollars per man hour and the discount through Angie's List. We also sprayed for poison ivy which was not ask of us to do. We enjoyed the challenge but if I were asked to do it again (as thorough as we were) I would have just cut it to the ground in several hours so we could watch it grow back in several weeks even thicker than it was. Or would we?That is the difference between Allpro Landscape and some competitor. We went for roots and all not a quick fix. Mr. Walker received a good job at a fair price for what was done. They are a nice family and I would work for them in the future if asked."

AllPro's prices are mid to higher range on some things, but he uses the better materials and does give the option to go cheaper on the materials needed. He leaves it up to the customer to decide how much they want to spend! Our lawn, landscaping, and all outdoor features of our estate have never looked so pristine!!! I would definitely recommend them and I am continuing to use them for all my outdoor needs!!

The services were 2 very large decks which were never painted or treated and some of the wood needed replaced as well as power washed due to the mildew/sap from trees. The "crew" turned into one man who came late mornings till 5 and once in awhile (I can count on one hand) another person from ALLPRO would come out and give him a hand. This project rolled into months...and although the job has been paid for in full, is still not complete-almost one year later! the concrete used to patch the stairs to this day becomes gummy when it rains-cheap materials for a high price. After the job was "done" they are still coming out almost a year later to repair wood that was rotted and painted over anyway. Drip marks on the back of the deck railings, paint on patio furniture. and the contents of my porch were thrown out into the yard for the entire winter, damaging some items, including their own equipment that sat outside in my yard for several months this winter. I had to go behind them and clean nails, staples off my porch (I have a toddler that plays there) and to this day still have paint stuff piled in a corner on my porch. There was paint on the outside of the newly replaced screens, and the new gutters have paint slopped on them. My husband and I pointed out numerous things as soon as we saw them and fingers were pointed as to who did it but then it was left. We paid them during a bad rain storm that lasted several days and really couldnt get out to review the final project. Boy, were we shocked with what we found. Everyone in a hurry to receive final payment, and left us with a mess. As for the weed killing, they sprayed and left half of it. We had to tell them where they missed. Mowed the lawn and weeded at a high price, but decent.. I went with the highest estimate of 4 because they appeared professional and knowledgable and we wanted a job that would sustain a good few years...it didn't sustain the first 2 months of being "done". 6,000 down the toilet. The owner did say all would be under warranty for a year , I will give him that. I just don't want to deal with this company anymore. There was also a lot of animosity between the employees and owner, and it was just a mess within the company that was taken out on my home. The owner never showed for the final go around or checked his employee or with us to see that everything was going as planned. Also, the mansion down the street from us was the all "A" review listed previously. We even got to see their work at that house when we where looking for estimates. The company and that reviewer are very close friends. That review hooked us, don't be fooled.

"I am disappointed to read your review dated 5-20-2013 First, I am Disappointed because we failed to meet your expectations. I am also Disappointed because your review detailed so many issues that were never brought up with me and that I was never given the opportunity to address them. In your August 5, 2013 email (three months after your posting) I was Disappointed because when I went to your house I was unable to find most of the items you complained about in your review. And I am Most Disappointed because your words damaged my hard earned reputation as well as the reputation of one of my most valued long term customers. While it might take a while to offset the affect your letter has had on my rating, time is on my side, and I will work very hard in the future to insure you will always be a customer that remains one of a kind."

The Allpro team was very prompt and straightforward with regard to our needs and our desires with our landscaping. They were honest about what we could do and how we could accomplish our goals both within our time frame and within our budget. I most definitely appreciated their honesty when it came to telling us that what we wanted might be not only a pure waste of money, but also wouldn't work in our area or climate!! Other companies during the estimates didn't tell us we'd be wasting money on certain things but sure seemed willing to charge us to do them. Not Mr Woodacre though - he has very thorough knowledge and experience and my wife and I trust his judgement explicitly!

As far as price goes, I attained multiple estimates and Allpro was not the most inexpensive, but also not the most expensive; but his knowledge of the terrain, climate, soils, a how different plants would do in our area was very impressive!! He provided us several options on how to obtain our goals and then we chose what worked best for us and our budget.

The first phase of the contract involved a detailed analysis of the plan and specifications. Allpro’s bid was broken down exactly as we had requested and they provided significant value added on their part in how they priced and sourced the materials specified in the furnished plan. I would compare their result to Costco’s in that they sell a better product at a competitive price, not a cheaper product for a lower price. They were responsive in accommodating our requests for contract language changes and explained the variances from plan where necessary. They provided all of their insurance and bond information. The second phase included planning the staging of the project, specifying the subcontractor’s roles and assisting us in locating in and out of market talent and materials where necessary. I give them very high marks in this area. The third phase was doing the work and overseeing subcontractors. We were not in town when much of this phase was going on and when we returned the project had progressed on time and on budget. Morgan Whitacre , Allpro’s owner is an efficient email/vmail communicator, so we were in the loop the entire time we were away. In summary, we are three quarters of the way to completion on our project and we are very satisfied customers. Allpro now has the maintenance contract on the place and is scheduled to complete the last phase this spring. We are very comfortable recommending Allpro to our fellow Angie’s list members.
