In the beginning it was great. Eight men removed the existing roof, then the next day the crew dropped to a five man crew with "no supervision". The company had a representative on the job but he was a nineteen year old with no knowledge of the trade...I could not keep them installing the "weather shield" properly. On five occasions I stopped them to show them how the weather shield must be installed to be effective. At completion (3 days later) the weather shield was left out of three very important areas. Metal flashing was crude and the roof leaked very badly during a brief rain shower. They promised to return for repairs and ten days later have not shown up, after promising to return every day!!! Now Zach will not answer the phone, has not returned for the repairs but has brought materials by. The proposal was accepted for shingles, weather shield, flashing, replacement of rotten boards, ridge vents, roof vents and plumbing stack boots. All were supplied except for the ridge vents, metal drip strip on the edges and I had to supply the metal for the metal flashing. This crew did well on roofing installation but knows nothing about flashing and weather sealing.
