No estimate was offered or received before work began. The contractor arrived on time on the appointed day. The work progressed at a steady and acceptable pace. This company was experienced and punctual. However very unresponsive to customers questions and suggestions to correct a water drainage problem coming into the garage. Consequently we still have water coming into the garage during extra heavy rains. After the bed was constructed but before the asphalt was applied, I approached the contractor and suggested a more defined slant away from the garage door. I was informed of how many years experience this company had and my suggestions were summarily dismissed without reasonable contradition. Then they proceeded to pave the driveway the way it was originally laid out. When it was finished, I pointed out to them that water from a hose still drained right toward the garage door. They then proceeded to lay a patch of asphalt near the door entrance which is both ineffective and unsightly.
