They brought in a Bobcat and attempted to grade around the house as they should have done in the first place. Now they need to lay pipe for drainage, bring in soil for fill and rock to put in under the drainage pipe before they top with soil. Well, for some reason the rock delivery has not been made. They started this procedure on Tuesday May 14th. rock was supposed to show up May 15th, May 16th and then May 17th....never happened. So once again it has rained, my drainage pipes are not angled down correctly so they are filling up with water. My yard is a mudpit once again. I am wearing boots to get to my detached garage. You would think that after one year, this problem would have been repaired. By now I should have gardens and a nice yard to enjoy and not be embarrassed for friends to come over.

As I stated prior, I dealt with this builder for 3 years before I chose them to build my home. They were always prompt in returning my phone calls, and honest in answering my questions and concerns. I have never built a home on my own before and they never made me feel that my inquires were trivial.
They impress the fact that they will build your home to your specifications with the same care if you are unable to be onsight. NOT a good idea. I have an ongoing drainage issue as I was unable to be onsight at the time the foundation was poured. They are trying to remedy this situation, and have been very attentive towards it, however it never should have become an issue in the first place.
