A & W Asphalt And Sealing

In August 2021, we paid $28,000 for A & W to pave our driveway. We noticed grass growing through the pavement less than a month after the paving. We called and discussed it with Mr. Wooten, the owner. He recommended a grass poison for us to spray on the spots, which we did. In March, we noticed a 12-foot area had cracks and crumbling asphalt. I reached out to the owner. He provided several lies, from equipment being down, coming to review, and being a no-show to I will check with my son and never getting back to me to downright stopping answering my calls. I cannot recommend this company. They are not professional and demonstrate no integrity.

They were friendly enough but failed to tell me they were not including sealing in their estimate. Then after paying another $1250, they sealed my driveway on a day when it rained. I had asked them if they needed to come another day since it was supposed to rain but they said it would be ok. It came a downpour right after they finished. I had to contact a lawyer to get them to reseal and fill in cracks caused by lack of sealing. Then they came on a day when no one was home and still left cracks etc. They could have easily called or texted me to set up a date but never contacted me at all! DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE! Their estimate may be cheaper, but beware!! You will pay more in the long run!

Had our very large driveway installed 9-10-20 Wayne and Marques and his team of great guys were very helpful and courteous. His team worked very diligently and got the job done. We highly recommend this company. Wayne returned calls when left a message very quickly. Would definitely use this company again.

Wayne came to our home to survey the repairs the same day I called and requested a quote. The A&W crew arrived a few days later and made the repairs in just a couple of hours. They were polite, professional and easy to work with. I would recommend A&W to anyone needing asphalt work.

They were courteous workers but there is some spots that need to be corrected. Owner is aware of this and said he would take care of it.

I’m still trying to get a copy of an invoice. Need it for my books. O there than that he was g feat.
