Urban Tree was able to safely remove a very large limb that was in danger of falling in our front yard. They climbed the 40 ft. tree without spikes, removed the limb and were able to save the tree. They then suggested soil improvements to keep our other trees healthy. A first class job by real professionals.

The initial inspection and assessment was quoted at $75.00; Mr. Frazier did a careful and thorough assessment and answered all of my questions. I was very impressed with his knowledge. I was especially concerned about three (3) mature trees which were growing with a lean toward my home; Mr. Frazier noted that two of these trees were no threat to my home, but one (a hickory tree) had severe root damage and disease and he strongly suggested that I remove that tree. He quoted $1500.00 for tree removal and trimming of 10 other trees; the $75 assessment would be included in that cost.
Mr. Frazier and one other gentleman performed the scope of work; majority of work was completed in one day (tree removal and trimming); haul away of remaining debris and treatment of diseased tree/bushes quickly followed. Payment was not requested until all work was performed. One main difference in this company's approach to tree trimming is that they do not use spikes to climb the trees; Mr. Frazier explained that use of spikes can harm the trees. Urban Tree Inc only uses ropes, pulleys, and harnesses to climb trees.
My trees look great and were not overly pruned, and I can see the value in using a certified arborist to perform tree trimming; I look forward to using this company again in the future
