It was outstanding. They were wonderful.

I had a different contractor install a basement waterproofing system and needed someone to do the drywall and tub.  I am/will complete the "finishing" myself. Tony, the owner, came for the quote in a reasonable time frame.  He estimated 10 days until they could start.  It actually was 3 weeks before they were able to start.  The 4-5 day estimate to do the job ended up being 8.  There were reasonable explanations for all the delays.  I was in no hurry so I did not mind the crew full of veterans taking time off for veterans day.

There were a few extra things they did that were not included in the quote for which they did not charge me.  I paid what the quote was plus the actual cost of one part I asked them to install that they did not charge me labor on.  There was extra plumbing needed which was done with no extra charge. 

I was pleased with the work.  I guess that if I had pushed more on the time they may have  pushed to get done in the initial time frame.  Like I mentioned,  I was not in a hurry.  The foreman I was dealing with (not Tony, James) was easy to contact and readily explained what was going on.

My experience with them was great. The price was reasonable. It's hard to get somebody to do a little bit of job but they took care of it. They were very professional and concerned. They were thorough with the repairs so we didn't have to follow-up.

Generally it was a good experience. They were courteous, on time and better estimate. I think the finish and final touch up were kind of left hanging. We decided on them because of the rapport between myself and Steve Pickett he is a former engineer and I am an engineer and we both had same kind of approach. Their willingness to allow the home owner to help without charging him extra. He did show up when he would but not at the original schedule.

After finding this company on Angies list, I first contacted Pickett Construction by email through their website. Tony Smith gave us an initial estimate via email to give us an idea of the cost based on square footage of the rooms. After having Tony come out and look at some odd circumstances, the second estimate wasn't far off the original. He was able to get work started fairly quickly and completed it within the quick time frame we needed.
We were impressed at the speed the job was completed and the attention to detail of the finisher(s). There were a few minor mistakes, but being a perfectionist, I was still very happy with the results. I have done my own drywall finishing before and know what good a job looks like. It was soooo nice to sit back and watch professionals at work and see what would have taken me weeks happen in a few days!
It was also nice to deal with someone who can communicate using all types of technology in todays world. Tony was in constant touch with phone, email and text any time we had a question or concern.
We will certainly use Pickett again in the future for jobs that are out of our remodeling league! Thanks Tony!

They were professional, stayed in budget and finished on time. They did good quality work. Highly recommend.

It was insurance work and the insurance covered everything. It was about a $1,000 claim. They did a good job. The price seemed reasonable.

I was pleased with their services and their prices were reasonable. They were able to stop the leak. I will be calling them to do some more work for me.

The insurance settled us for damages during the storm as a tree fell on our house. They charged us for finishing the roof and putting gutters up on my house, so it was reasonable. They did wonderful work and they finished the work last week. We watched them do the work and they were very thorough. They did everything properly and remodeled the house. They got Gutterglove Pro to cover the gutters, and they installed it very well; it is a little more difficult than installing the regular gutter covers. The price was fair. We watched them work and it looked like they knew what they were doing, and that's a positive thing.

The owner was a wonderful person. He was honest, trustworthy, intelligent, and he will do anything to make the project satisfactory to you. A lot of people say they are Christians and brag about it. He does not brag about it but lives a life like that. He is honest, great with the customer, and if his day is long, he is calm. He took a lot of time to prepare an estimate we wanted and said we can pay him whatever we wanted. We used him because of his kindness. He was calm, patient, and a wonderful person. The people that work for him are like him. The workmanship was excellent. He went out of his way to do everything we wanted. He gave us a very good discount. He honored some coupons as well. The quality of work was okay. If there was anything that needed to be fixed, he made sure he did it. They came when they said they are going to come and we knew when to expect them. They kept us informed about their schedule. They were very professional.
