WOODS LAWN & LANDSCAPE

The yard at a rental house that I have up for sale was a huge jungle of a mess. I needed the yard cleaned up quickly to make the house show ready, and didn't have time to do the work myself (it would have taken me at least 2-3 days). I also need the lawn regularly mowed while the house is for sale. I contacted Tim Woods at Woods Lawn and Landscape, and he was able to meet promptly at the house to take a look. He sent me an estimate the next morning and it looked very reasonable so I contacted him to do the work. I communicated the urgency of getting the work done so he scheduled the job to begin nearly immediately (I accepted the quote on April 29, and he started work on May 2). He initially thought the job might take a couple days, but he brought in some extra help and got the work all done in one day much to my delight. I was very pleased with the outcome of the work. There was one small issue with a couple dead plants not being removed, but when I contacted Tim about it, he stopped by that same evening and removed the plants himself. Overall I had a great experience with Tim and would definitely hire him again for any lawn or landscaping needs. Tim is very professional and customer focused, and is a nice guy to work with.

Hired Woods as our Lawn and Landscape company in mid 2008. At the start he was the best lawn guy we have ever had. As time went on problems started. He became unresponsive to email and phone communication would skip several weeks of mowing. When contacted would promise to be there the next day and then would no show. THis pattern repeated and got worse. By the end of 2009 I began to doubt we had any fertilizer or treatment on the lawn the whole year and the weeds began to overtake the lawn. I continued to contact him and ask about the aeration, overseeding and other things needed before 2010 came. I kept getting the run around and finally no responses at all. After 4 emails sent and another one srping of 2010 to ask "are we going to fix this" I have never recived a reply since 11/2009. I assume he is out of buiness. If not I caution all to stay away.

Called Woods Lawn Service for an estimate for yard work based on the reports on Angie's list.Initially he forgot the appointment we had scheduled ,but when I called he was quite apologetic and came out later that same day. He was very personable and seemed quite knowlegeable. He said he would make a plan,normally he charges to render the drawing,but since he had forgotten the appointment he would do it at no charge.(How nice!) After I had not heard from him in a couple of weeks I called and he sounded quite surprised that I had not received his e-mail as he said he had mailed it a few days prior.He took the original e-mail I had provided and a second one.I requested he send a copy of the e-mail to both addresses.A few days later I e-mailed ( so he would definitely have the address) telling him I had still not received the estimate. No response.I then called and left a message on his voicemail.That has been several days and still no response. Very unprofessional and unreliable!

They were cutting my neighbors yard across the street and I approached them.. They gave me a fair price and cut my yard on the spot. I agreed to a regular schedule, the work looked great! Highly recommended so far.

They were very professional from the time the phone was answered to completing the work. They showed up within the window of time that was given and called when they were on the way. I will definitely be using this company again.
