Jacob Victor and his employees did a great job tearing off and re-roofing a elderly family members home in Forest Hills, Nashville, TN. The job was bid and scheduled within a week and the services provided were excellent!

Jacob Victor and his employees responded my call for gutter replacement after a storm blew a tree down that brushed my house enough to tear off upstairs and downstairs gutters. Their bid was reasonable and thorough. They scheduled the job and performed the work in a careful manner. All of their employees are polite and talented. The new gutters look great!

Went great, just had to wait a few days because of rain. Looks as good as new.

They were very responsive, did quick and professional work, cleaned up all debris and quickly repaired one additional area of damage.

SmithCO was great. They came out on time for our appointment and inspected our roof. They recommended a style of shingle that would work great for our house and match well with the neighborhood but they didn't force anything on us and listen to what we wanted out of our new roof as well. They also installed a new type of venting system at no additional charge just because it was the best type for our house. Our home is now much easier to keep cool and the roof looks amazing. The clean up was great too. We were worried about left over nails in the yard because of our Grandchildren and our dogs but SmithCO spent almost as much time cleaning up as they did replacing the roof. We will be using them again next year for our gutters and some siding work.

I had never had my roof replaced or a project as large as that on my house so I was weary of being over charged & not getting quality service. Jacob was amazing. Talked me through the entire process & was ok with me asking any questions I needed to make me feel comfortable with trusting him with the work. He is now a family go to as my brother used him as well for roof replacement.

Everything went well, on time, quality workmanship and materials, good communications, I will recommend SmithCo to my friends and family in Nashville.

The owner promised me that the gutters and guards were the best quality. He promised that if they ever needed to be cleaned out, his company would do it for free. For three years since installation, we have called to have the gutters cleaned or tacked up, because water was leaking behind them. After the first visit, he never sent anyone out - his crews were always down in TX. We hired someone else to clean the gutters each fall. Now, the water leaking behind the gutters has ruined the carport roof and ceiling. Also, the soffits are discintegrating.

The project couldn't have gone better from start to finish. Jacob, our rep listened to exactly what my Wife Kathy wanted and gave us a price on exactly that. The job started and finished on time, the clean up was great and the roof looked even better than we hoped. I was so worried when we started this process because I had to call 9 roofing companies to get 3 bids. SmithCO was the best price and I'm glad we went with them. I will be calling them back later this year when we are ready for windows. David

From start to finish, the owner Jacob, was courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and he had one of the best prices of the 3 estimates we received. The job was finished on time and looked beautiful. Would definitely use again. Highly recommend.

Roof began leaking after 5 months. It would stop leaking for a while and then started back this fall when heavy rains began. Jacob came once in June and squirted Great Stuff around and as he left he said “you might wanna go do some trim work up there.” After repeated attempts to reach him, he will no longer responds to calls. He gave me a 5 year warranty on labor and installation and is apparently not going to honor it.

We initially contacted Jacob to repair and replace our old roof and gutters. We knew some soffit and fascia would also need replacing. His estimate was very reasonable and he himself was exceptionally responsive to us both initially and while the work was being done. No request went unanswered. He always got back to us and worked with us on every request. In the end, we replaced the roof, got new gutters with guards, had quite a bit of rotten fascia and soffit replaced with hardiboard and then painted, and also had some decorative hardiboard siding put on the front gable and that painted as well. His crews were on time, professional, and the work was done exceptionally well. This all came to approx $8000.00. One month later, a tree landed on our house making a huge hole in our brand new roof, busting up a part of our brand new gutters, damaging our porch, making a hole in our fence, and denting our brand new decorative siding. Insurance was very cooperative and we once again chose to use Jacob and his crew. They repaired several rafters, replaced quite a bit of decking, reroofed about 1/4 of our new roof, replaced the broken gutters and guards, repaired our porch, and completely redid our front gable decorative hardiboard siding complete with all painting. They also very kindly repaired and painted the part of our picket fence the tree smashed. All total this came to approx $3,000. I would recommend SmithCo, Jacob and his crews to anyone needing exterior house work. They did a great job for us TWICE. There work is excellent, on time, and the cost was very reasonable.

The work was completed in a day. They replaced most of the siding on the outside of the chimney, and all of the siding from the roofline to the top of the chimney on the other three sides. They also sanded the chimney cap and painted the entire chimney.

Could not be happier with our results. We worked directly with Jacob and from start to finish he was able to complete our small job in 2 weeks. He was great with communicating with us which we really appreciated. Would use again and refer to friends and family. Great quality and great service. Thanks for everything, Jacob and team!

Our experience with Jacob Victor, the owner of SmithCo, was excellent from start to finish. We got three estimates for a new roof and his came in lowest. He was straightforward, responsive, helpful and highly professional. He was willing to work around our schedule, and his whirlwind crew got the job done in exactly the time predicted – one day, with a little detail work (chimney flashing) left for the next morning. The new roof looks fantastic. We intend to hire him again in the near future to replace our gutters.

Jacob at SmithCo was extremely professional and courteous in quoting the work I needed done and he didn't try to up-sell me on unnecessary work or products. He did what he said he was going to do and he kept the cost to exactly what he quoted. His men were on time and we hardly knew they were ever there.

It was a great experience from start to finish. From the thoroughness of their inspection of my home to the finished product. They kept me informed as to the process, the owner was courteous and professional, the crew worked hard and they cleaned up. Their prices were reasonable and the quality of the work superb.

Excellent company. The owner called me back promptly and suggested some things I could try first that could have fixed the situation. When that did not work his crew came out and expertly fixed the problem for the price he quoted. Wish I had called them years ago.
