I would not recommend ACA Construction to my worst enemy! Our experience with them replacing our roof was a nightmare! The workmanship was shoddy, we found corona bottle caps in the yard. They popped nails out of the drywall of the entire front ceilings inside of our house. They didn’t replace plywood or flashings that needed to be replaced. This led to them having to re-do a large portion of the roof twice! The owners of this company need to take a class on customer service as they lied, cheated and disparaged our name. They tried to overcharge us and blame us for their mistakes and terrible roofing crew. They never once offered to compensate us for the interior damage they caused from slamming bundles of shingles on our roof. They were only concerned with their profit margin. DO NOT hire this company! You will be overcharged, lied to and treated like a dollar sign! Buyer beware!

I recently had storm damage to my 15 year old roof. Trying to be loyal to neighbors that work for roofing companies I called them first. It took that company a week to tarp my roof then they never came back even after multiple follow ups. I asked around and was given the number for ACA. Steve with ACA came out almost immediately, marked the roof and sat with me while I called State Farm. State Farm has been a nightmare to work with, to the point they sent an incompetent inspector who claimed my roof was in great condition and was only 5 years old. Steve with ACA fought tooth and nail with State Farm, jumped through hoops doing stupid requests of theirs and because of his diligence State Farm has finally approved a new roof. I work in Property Management and deal with contractors daily. I have NEVER had a contractor go to battle for me the way Steve did. I would recommend ACA to anyone!

I work 70 hours a week and have very little time to get things done. ACA and John had me an entire new roof installed and cleaned up the old roof in one day. The hardest thing I had to do, was choose what color I wanted. Very happy

Amazing job. Company did good work. Great follow up. Job looks great. Company rep John Johnson was very good with walking me thru the process, the job, the follow up and the finished product. I would be happy to use them again or to recommend this company to anyone else.

The salesman was very knowlegable, and I was confident when he left. However, the crew was not as good. Their work was sloppy, they broke several landscaping plants, and left several dozen nails in my landscaping and lawn. They also threw scraps in the soffit above my porch which I had to clean up. The cuts to the sheathing were uneven and they even broke off a corner of it instead of getting a saw and cutting it. Also, when I was talking to the person who did the estimate, he measured the siding, and was going to have some damaged pieces replaced. Once they left, I noticed that none had been replaced. Even though we spoke about it, when I went baxk to the estimate, he failed to include that, so shame on me for not reading through the estimate. There are no leaks so far, but just the carelessness with which they work worries me.

Mr. John Johnson was a pleasure to work with. My insurance company was fighting me every step of the way, but Mr. Johnson stepped in an advocated for me, taught me the local laws, and helped make my new roof and siding a reality. It took over a year of fighting with the insurance company, yet he stuck with me and the process from start to finish even if they were really giving him a hard time. He was always professional and friendly. On top of the great service, the quality of work was also great. I highly recommend working with Mr. Johnson and this company.

It was a pleasure doing business with them. John Johnson was the main person I dealt with, he stopped by while the work was being done just to see if we had any concerns. He also followed up after it rained to ensure everything thing was still good. We appreciate them for being honest and reliable.

John cam out quickly and tarped our roof. After being denied by insurance, John worked with us to get our roof repaired.

We had wind damage on our roof and contacted ACA Construction for an estimate to fix it. My sister had used them before to replace a roof and was very satisfied with their work. John Johnson set up an appointment to survey the damage and give an estimate. Mr. Johnson arrived promptly and after looking at the damage, he explained the repairs to me. I received an email that night with an estimate to do the repairs and information on contracting them to do the work. I was notified by email when the work would be done and the crew showed up at the time I was given. The work was completed in a very timely manner. I was contacted by email the next day to see if I was satisfied and with an invoice for the balance owed. We paid the balance and were contacted a few days later by Mr. Johnson to make sure everything was satisfactory. Very good communication and very easy and pleasant to deal with. I would absolutely use them again and recommend them.

My experience was amazing with this company. John reassured me time and time again that the job would be completed and in a timely manner because I was extremely cautious. He was correct the job was completed within a week of damage being done to my home. I feel blessed being able to work with this company and them following through. That is very hard to get in the Clarksville region!

This company is amazing, the workers never fail. This company is my go to company for most of my needs. I refer them to everyone looking for work to be completed.

We lost some shingles in a severe storm. ACA Construction responded promptly and had the roof repaired in a day – before the next storm blew through.

All the work was completed on schedule, the workers were skilled, polite, and helpful.  At the end of the project, there was no debris left on the property

Job estimate by Tosha Archer/Josh Whitlock was made on/about 10/1/2014.  We accepted the bid on 10/10/2015 and work commenced on 10/18/2014.  The work was to remove and replace the existing roof entirely with 30-40 year composite shingles--approximately 42 squares with commensurate amount of felt, ridge caps, flashing, vents, etc .  The pitch of the roof is 12/12 and 12/14 in some areas.

Ace works with several crews and the first crew that arrived to begin to do the work decided not to do the work because the pitch was too steep and it would take longer than what they had agreed to be paid for.  After several phone calls to ACE we were able to ascertain that the crew had been informed correctly but they decided to leave anyway and ACE provided a different crew to begin removing the old shingles that afternoon (Saturday)..  While this situation did not make us feel comfortable with what was happening, the response from ACE management assured us that all would proceed properly and correctly. Josh even stopped by later in the day to assure that all had begun and once again outlined what had happened and remedies provided.  He frequented the site several more times during the week to review and inspect.

This crew did a good job.  They worked each day from 8:00 a.m. to dark (6:30 - 7:00 pm) each day until finished on 10/22.  Overall it took 4-1/2 days which was a little longer that originally planned.  The crew was very systematic in handling the shingles up the steep areas of the roof and seemed to work well in a coordinated manner.  They were quick to ask if they had a question and were always willing to provide a good response to my questions.  There was some gutter damage from removing the old shingles and when one package of shingles fell off the portable escalator.  However, after the job was completed Josh sent another crew to completely replace the damaged gutters at no charge. 

ACE has also agreed to come back as needed to use a heat element on any areas that may not have sealed completely.  Some parts of the roof do not receive a lot of sunshine that normally is needed to make a complete seal.  There is no charge for this as ACE provides a full 5 year warranty on all workmanship.
