While their work was good, I was not happy with the experience. The communication was bad in that I wasn't quite sure when they were coming to do the work. The completion of the task took much longer than needed because of poor planning on their part. They were more interested in getting their checked than they were in the timely completion of the job.

This was not our first rodeo with remodeling contractors, and our first experience in Dallas was enough to put us off any further remodeling, ever. But our master shower was less than 36" square and our closet door wouldn't open fully if there were clothes on the hangers inside. After six years of this, we decided we needed an upgrade.
Initially did not want to go with this company because their price was out of our range. About three months after initial contact and turning down his estimate, we could not find anyone else who had an idea how to do what we wanted done. Timberline called again and offered to negotiate the price. We accepted the new price. Initially, work was supposed to take two weeks. It took six.

We had to constantly be on Cody (owner) to get things right. He always did, but I don't think we should have to nearly beg to get the now-extraneous tub switch taken out of the wall by the sink; nor should we have to be the one to notice that the re-done over the tub window was incomplete on the outside. We had picked out two shades of tile--one for the floor and one for the shower wall. The tile was not checked before they picked it up, and it was all the same color. At that point we were already weeks behind, so we just went with the one color to avoid any further delays. The shower wall and the tile at the front edge are not together---the tile sticks out about 1/2" from the wall "because the wall isn't level". No effort made to fix that.  The wall repair where we had the other sink and full mirror was not well done. We are still noting places that were not smoothed down before painting. The painter did not take any hardware off the doors before painting them; did not wipe off paint that got on the electic outlet plug or on the new light fixtures. We had to wait several weeks after everything was more or less done for the carpet person to come finish the closet floor. We were not fully consulted on the cabinetry--I had to drive 40 miles to the cabinetmaker warehouse to see examples. We wanted a center cabinet on the vanity, but were never asked how big. It was 'way too big, and we eventually just went to the cabinet maker ourselves to get it cut down to size--at extra cost. Paint color for the bath was not discussed until the last minute, and I had to make a decision among the colors available,
In all, if we were to ever work with this company again, we would have a much more detailed list of what will and won't be done; what corrections will be made. But..we never will. It was too much hassle. We love our shower and larger closet.

Yes, I recommend this pro
It could not have been easier. They were able and willing to work around my hectic schedule, and were very accommodating to change requests and discussions on design, materials etc. While I did provide some of the materials, Cody did refer me to some great vendors to purchase the remaining items needed at a fair price. I would prefer not to include what I spent; but after months of remodeling and mutliple quotes etc., I would say the cost of the service was very fair and competitive.
