The people were really nice, assured me that they DID do exotic animals. And that they definitely could do my sugar gliders nails. My appt. was for 3:00 p.m. they did not seem to be busy when I arrived. There was only one other person at the desk getting prices for flea medicine when I arrived. It was 4:10 p.m. before we were taken to the patient room. They came in the room from the back took my glider in pouch to the very back of the building. They were laughing and giggling and I assumed all was going great. They came back in with my glider placed back in pouch, informed me they just loved her and all went great. She told me all about how she was glad I had picked her and then informed me that my glider was the first one she had ever had. I paid for the services, left to my vehicle. I noticed that my glider was a lot quieter than normal. We were not bonded yet, so I was afraid to open her pouch in the parking lot or my vehicle. I kept moving her around through the pouch till I got her to make some noise. I left and took her straight home and placed her back in her cage. Several hours later I heard her moving around in the cage and went to check on her and give her treats, which is something you normally do when bonding with a sugar glider. At that moment was when I saw what they had done to her.
Both back feet were bloody, they had quicked every nail on both of her back feet, and took the tips off of two toes. I have not contacted them concerning this matter, I really don't know what to say to someone who would come out and blatantly lie to your face about all going so great when they obviously had no idea what they were doing. I have cried over my baby having been cut and treated like she could not feel anything. I could not pet her and comfort her, because like I said we were not bonded yet and she did not trust me. This has also set our bonding backwards. Because she is now afraid she will be hurt again. I will not go back to them for any other animal and I will not recommend them to anyone. I realize that accidents happen, but it you hurt an animal, you tell the owner what you did, you do not come out and say all went great and let them find it later. Also she stated that her name was Dr. Oller but the receipt that I got says it was performed by Dr. Wilson, so I really don't know if I even got to see a real Veterinarian or not, because I was obviously lied to about everything else. I am beyond very disappointed with this Veterinarian.

They have emergency care and have really good care. You can trust what they say and their after care is excellent. They are very professional, nice, and explains everything to you. I do not have to worry about them. They do not gut you and try to charge you extra.

We have used Harrogate Hospital for animals for years after being less than pleased with a vet in Tazewell. They are caring and compassionate. They properly diagnosed my dog after weeks of misdiagnosis and astronomical bills from a prior vet. Had I not switched to Harrogate my dog would have continued to suffer for no other reason than someone trying to make as much profit as they could off of the suffering of others and their animals. Harrogate Hospital has treated all of my and my parents animals ever since, they offer all services at very fair prices. Although keeping our pets healthy happy and pain free is their priority, they also can arrange for cremation services for when tragedy occurs, I have had to use the service twice in my years as a customer. I continue to use Harrogate for my new and remaining animals and would recommend them to any animal lover.
