Inn At Wolftever / Wolftever Pet Hospital

Dr. Darlene White has taken care of my many dogs and cats for over 25 years. Over that time, there have been many out of the ordinary, critical and difficult health issues. I trust her implicitly and there is no one instinctively smart, more empathetic, and truthful. Unfortunately, euthanasia has been needed at times when nature wasn't as timely and merciful as was needed. In those most difficult of times, Dr. White is very compassionate and caring for the pet owner, but more importantly, so tender, patient, and present for the sick animal. There is no one better or kinder. She will encourage necessary diagnostic testing, however, she is respectful of customers' various financial capacities.

The Inn at Wolftever has always provided excellent services to me and my family when boarding our dogs. Staff know them by name as soon as we enter the door. When leaving we are always given a report as to how they did.

I have used two other local kennels for boarding and neither provide the level that is provided by Wolftever. Although my dog has problems when boarded, she does very well at Wolftever. A lot has to do with the facility itself, choice of different size rooms ( yes rooms not cages) either inside or inside/outside. They provide auto water dishes, tv's and webcam access. Would definitely use in the future.

I have used Wolftever kennel/day care for almost 3 years now.  the past 3 months have been awful and I will NEVER return.  This past visit my dog came home with a huge gash on her snout.  No one called me during the visit and no one mentioned anything when she was picked up.  When I called the manager she said she would investigate and call me back, she never called back so I called her again. She told me she talked to the entire staff and no one noticed anything and that my dog kept flipping her food bowl over and it must of happened from that.  There is absolutely no way this could of happened from a food bowl, there is a huge gash with a big chunk of skin taken out (wish I could upload the picture here).  I should of been notified, explained what had happened and measures taken to clean the wound but nothing!
Other items from the past 3 months: When I dropped her off they put her in a room that had some other dogs feces all over it.  When I asked if it would be cleaned up I was told  they were very busy in the morning and they would get to it.  When I returned to the front counter and saw a girl just standing there I demanded they clean it up immediately. She also got kennel cough there, I understand this is not 100% preventable but when I called to tell them and ask what their protocol is for extra cleaning or to notify others that were there at the same time they said they do nothing additional.  I would expect they would do additional sterilization when there is a confirmed case and inform the other pets that were there at the same time.  These are just a few of the issues that have happened in the past 3 months, I am not going to stick around to see how much worse they get.  Protect your fur babies and DO NOT take them to Wofltever!

I brought my cat Charlotte in for a wellness exam. Dr. Candace Robertson detected what might be a concern going forward; nothing major, very minor at this point, probable won't amount to anything (hopefully).  I appreciate the fact that Dr. Robertson took a substantial amount of time to describe in detail what the issue was now, concerns going forward and possible treatments and plans. The Dr. clearly has a connection to each animal she sees and she ensures that the animal and owner have everything they need. I have 3 other pets and she always makes me feel that I have the most beautiful animals in the world!

The staff is always welcoming and friendly. 

Diagnosis and continuing consultation

I haven?t lived in the Chattanooga area long and needed to find a daycare for our dog. I went to several and just did not get a good vibe from the kennels I went to and looked at for a daycare/ boarding kennel. Then I heard about Wolftever and went to check it out! WOW what a great decision that was! From the minute I entered the building and was greeted like I had been
there many times to the wonderful tour was given I knew I had found the right place!
They treat my dog as a member of their own family when he is there. They greet him with love and give him their full attention when I drop him off.  He is happy to see them and greets them and is ready to spend the day with them!
When we leave him for an extended time while we are on vacation we know he is on a vacation of his own. They pamper the dogs that are left in their care. The ability to see my dog with the cameras they have is another great perk!
If you are looking for a home away from home for your family member Wolftever is the only place to go!

I have known the Stanford family for over 40 years and used this clinic for 11 years. My furry friends are happy so I am happy. They are very professional, friendly and compassionate. A+++++ A must use!

They are very expensive; I think their prices are out of line.  They don’t give credit.  I would use them again in the future if I needed to.

They have three vets there. It's an excellent place. I've been in places that offer veterinary care that have a bad smell when you walk in. That isn't the case here. It's essentially like a people hospital.
