Milo was an excellent contractor.  Very professional while reviewing the situation and preparing my quote. Once we had agreed to the scope of,the work and the price I was placed on the schedule with about a 4 week lead time.  They return d 4 weeks exactly with an excellent crew that conducted themselves as professionals while on my property.  While here for 4.5 days, they cleaned up spotlessly each day and ask if I was pleased with the job so far. Fantastic results in every way - I just should have done this review sooner.

Milo with ABC Tree Service came to our house about a week before the service to talk to us about what we wanted done and how the work would be handled.  He was extremely knowledgeable about trees and provided excellent advice even on other trees in our yard not related to the work to be done.  After about an hour of talking and advice he went to his vehicle and came back with an estimate.  The cost was a bit more than we had expected - I think mostly because we were used to another fellow who came and did work as a side-line and didn't pay employees or business expenses.
The day of the service the crew of 6 people arrived promptly at 8:00 am.  They brought a bucket truck to reach the top of the trees and another truck with a tree-grinding trailer.   The crew leader talked to me to verify what was to be done and they got to work.  I asked them to be careful with my other plants and yard and they were.   They gave our two trees a "haircut" (took off about 6 feet of length all over).  Milo said they don't recommend "topping" any tree but it's the most reliable way to keep the Bradford Pear from splitting due to its weight and growth pattern.   All debris went into the grinder so there was nothing left to deal with.  The crew made sure our yard was cleaned and picked-up and we were satisfied before they departed.
Overall I can highly recommend ABC Tree Service - they are probably not the cheapest tree service in town but they are prompt, professional, dependable and insured.

They telephoned the day they were to do the work and said it would be one week later due to piece of equipment not working. I was upset but husband, who has background in commercial construction, said it was no big deal and he is the perfectionist! We had to go out of town unexpectantly and when we got back most of the work had been completed. The following day it was completed satisfactorily. They were the most knowledgable, and  professional company of the three  I interviewed,  and presented a Certificate of Insurance showing current coverage of liability and worker's compensation which was the main reason we contracted with them, they were not the lowest bidder.

He was very good about calling. He was very personable and knowledgeable. I have been happy with the service so far.

The work crew arrived promptly on the scheduled day.All work was performed safely and successfully. Cleanup was excellent. Overall, a very professional job.

They were excellent.  They had to change what they were going to do because the tree was in such bad shape; they gave me a good deal on it.  The cleanup was meticulous and they were knowledgeable about the trees and what needed to be done.  You have to wait to get some of these things done but they were pretty punctual.  I would definitely call them again.
