We ended up "flipping a coin" between him and another builder, and went with the other company. Despite that, we would have been very comfortable hiring Alan, since all of our interaction was very positive. He is a quality individual who does quality work and seems extremely organized and communicative. If we ever do an update or addition we would strongly consider Noble Knights next time.

We didn't have a great idea about what we wanted to build on our lot. We knew we wanted to build a house within a budget on a difficult to build view lot. We showed Alan VanWhy of Noble Knights Construction Services different photos of styles of houses we liked and he had just built a house 2 lots away from our lot so we knew he was familiar with the steep rocky site. His plans knocked it out of the ballpark! He met with us several times with plans that got more detailed as we collaborated. The process took about 3 months because he gave us time to get comfortable with the design and suggest changes.
We are so pleased with the final house plans. Another great thing about the plans is that we get a credit for them in our building contract if you chose his company to build!
Alan really likes to build unique custom homes and his favorite thing seems to be figuring out how to build a quality product while saving us money! After he drew up our plans, we decided to use his company to build them and we are currently in the foundation stage.
