These guys are the ones that define bad contractors, they were paid to remove the old roof but didn't, they left too much overhang in some spots and not enough in others wich made it very difficult to install gutters, when called for leaks was told not covered by warranty when in fact it should have been. Workmanship around vents and pipes was crap, one inch gaps filled with clear silicone that deteriorated in less than four years . Mikes employees were sloppy, would constantly park on grass flinging mud all over the place. One of his employees kept calling me threatening to sue me because he claimed he fell off roof that's the kind of people he hires. There are much better roofers out there.

We contacted Custom Cut Roofing one morning because we had a leak in the center of our roof.  Mike Jones answered the phone on the third ring and said he would have someone out to our home the next day.   The following day, Matthew and Mikey, two members of Mike's crew arrived in the afternoon.   They were polite and professional and had the repair done quickly.  At our request Matthew quoted us on the cost of  a new roof.  The quote was for a 30 year roof with a limited lifetime warranty on the shingles and a 5 year warranty on labor.  The price quoted for a complete teardown and replacement was more than fair, so we decided to go forward with the roof replacement.   The day of our roof replacement Mike Jones and his crew arrived around 6:30 AM.  There were more guys than we had the chance to count.  They quickly set up for the task despite the fact that they had to maneuver their dump trailer around the numerous trees we have in our front yard.  Within half an hour the roof tear off was in progress.  Everything went so efficiently that by 12:30 PM, when everything went silent for the first time in hours, the roof was done.  Not only was the roof done but the entire area was completely cleaned up.  Our front and rear decks actually looked cleaner than when the roofing crew had arrived.  We would highly recommend Custom Cut Roofing to anyone who has a roofing problem whether it's a repair or a roof replacement you need.  We are grateful to have been treated so fairly and taken care of so quickly.  The whole experience was one of true professionalism. 

Work went as planned and on schedule.  One and one half days to complete the job as promised.

Very professional appearance, gave me references, his Insurance Agent 's Number to show he had Workman’s Compensation. Also highly recommended with the Better Business Bureau. Very easily got up on the roof, and did his estimate he even allowed for 96 sq ft for bad decking.  Was "right on,"with what the Insurance Adjuster. He also upgraded and gave me a 30 year roof for the same price as the 25 year estimate.  Crew were all here at 6:00 this morning and did the whole job and finished by 2:00 this afternoon.  Mike had 10 men out here.  I couldn’t be more pleased.

Mike and his crew were wonderful. They were polite, clean, diligent, and above all punctual. When Mike told me they would be here, weather permitting, they were. As anyone from the East Tennessee area knows, the late summer / early fall of 2009 has been a monsoon. We have fought the weather constantly. Mike kept in contact on a regular basis and let us know what his schedule was. His crew was extremely professional and it was obvious from start to finish that they each take great pride in the work they do. Our house is very tall with a steep pitch to the roof. The soffitts are angled upward instead of parallel to the ground. We had metal soffitts installed. Mike found damage on our stone chimney and notified us of it. He actually gave us time to get a mason out to fix that area before he came back to finish the roofing around the chimney. This was a difficult job to say the least, and we are very pleased with the results.
