excellent professional- rare in these parts...on time-on price-clean neat professional work. Could not be more pleased.

From start to finish this was one of the best experiences I have had with a contractor.  He provided an good estimate and gave us an installation date.  The install date was a few weeks out but he told us that from the beginning.  With the quality of work you will understand why he is busy.  He showed up on the day promised and started work.  There were a few issues with the home we had to work around we found after demolition but he worked with us a there was only a minimal delay, none of it his fault.  He took special care to not leave a mess, cleaning up every day and doing a good clean at the end of the job.  He made some excellent suggestions on how to improve the final outcome.  The finished work was outstanding.  He is not the least expensive contractor you will find but he will be one of the best.  The price for the work involved was very fair, you may be able to get in done cheaper but I doubt you can get it done better.  If you want top quality work Steve is the person you need to hire.

After a bad experience with another tile contractor who spent three weeks remodeling one bathroom, I went to Angie's List and found Old School Tile.  The owner, Steve Johnson, came to the house to see what we wanted done, gave us a very fair estimate for the work, and said he could remodel the other two bathrooms in four days.  Well, it only took him and his crew two days to remodel the other bathrooms.  We are very pleased with the job they did and would highly recommend Old School Tile to anyone who wants excellent tile work done quickly and at a fair price.

I can't say enough good things about Steve and his guys. Steve was an excellent communicator throughout the entire job. They were there when they said they would be, and completed the job on time. The quality of their work exceeded my expectations. They paid attention to details that other installers may not have, and were considerate about cleaning up after themselves. They will be coming back early next year to install some laminate for me. I highly recommend them to anyone looking at any kind of flooring installation in the Greeneville TN area. A+++

Outstanding. Steve was very responsive and kept me up to date at every step of the process. He generated the bill of materials over the phone based on info I gave him and there were no surprises near the end. He took pictures of his progress every single day and let me know any issues that were of concern to him. He never charged more than the original quote and actually did a big favor in repairing some damage I had done in the demo. If you want an honest and very experienced tiler with outstanding job ethics, attention to detail, and excellent quality, contact Steve. There are a lot of shysters out there, he's not one one them. Steve started on time, was in constant contact with us. He and his crew were very aware of the dust and dirt they were going to create and took extra care to lessen the amount of dust, as well as cleaned up after themselves very well. We are extremely pleased with the out come of the job. Steve is a professional and takes great pride in his work. In addition, he follows your design ideas and offers helpful ideas of his own for the best looking outcome.
