Went very well, in spite of weather challenges. Terry and his crew did a great job, and met my expectations. I've seen some poor reviews, and I think these are related primarily to his availability and not showing up. As I found out, he is very busy, and is hard to get out for an estimate. Once I got the estimate, he showed up everytime that he promised, and finished the job in a timely manner. I knew he would be hard to get because he does a good job and is reasonable on his prices.

Thanks to Burriell’s Roofing, we were able to replace our shingle roof with a high quality metal roof for less than what several other contractors in the area quoted for a shingle roof. However, be really cautious if you are dealing with an insurance claim on your roof and want to change from shingles to metal. Read all the fine print in your claim very carefully. We discovered that removing the old shingles and putting down a new underlayment were labeled “Paid When Incurred” (PWI) expenses on our claim. If we had installed the metal roof on wood strips that were placed over the existing shingles (like several other contractors wanted to do), we would not have received about $750 of our insurance claim because the shingles would not have been removed nor would a new underlayment have been put down. Burriell’s Roofing worked with us to be in compliance with the insurance company’s requirement that the old shingles be removed in order for us to receive full payment of our claim. We are extremely happy with our beautiful new metal roof. Even our house looks like it is smiling.

The job was performed as projected with the exception on a short weather delay. All work was completed professionally. There was no unexpected problems or added costs. Truly a good experience.

Overall, we are quite pleased with the work. For the first time in a while I can say let it snow, let it snow, let it snow. This first rain since the now roof has water going where it needs to go and nowhere else! I look forward to working with Burriell's Roofing again this summer to put a roof on the other part of the house based on an estimate for the overall house, excluding the work described in this report. They did great work and worked with us to prioritize our repairs.
