Rick is the worst person to deal with. I was first told by his wife that they would pour my concrete on July 17th. This was after I gave her a check for two thousand dollars. No show on 17th. Said they would be there on 22nd. Told him I would be out of town. Reset for the 29th. No show again. Said things got pushed back because of rain. Would be there the next week. No show again. Supposedly family emergency in Georgia. Week and a half goes by and he sets another date. Goes as far as to text me that morning to tell me guys would be there between 8&9. Concrete would be there between 1&2. No one shows up. More excuses. Finally tell him just refund my deposit. Wife was suppose to meet me with deposit and she was also a no show. Finally got police involved and got my deposit back. Steer clear of this guy and his company. He is nothing but a crook.

Overall, I was very happy with the ? ncreye floor and the entire experience. I requested concrete pouring through Angie's List and was contacted same day by All American concrete. I received the quote quickly and they were able to schedule me for the following week. Everyone I spoke with was professional and polite. The work was performed on the scheduled date and the concrete floor was flawless. Overall it was a great experience and I am looking to request services in the future for a driveway. All American Concrete Services was excellent to work with and has a great team.

I recently hired Rick's company to redo the driveway of our historic home, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. Our project was no simple task; it involved not only replacing the driveway but also implementing stormwater diversion, which added a layer of complexity. To our surprise, what seemed like a straightforward job turned into a series of challenges as they uncovered multiple layers of old driveways beneath the surface. 4 man crew poured the concrete. The owner Rick Adams left before job was finished that day, said he had to go to Michigan to pick up his grandmother. Before he left, I told him I had an issue with the middle and end of driveway, it was a chalky color and they added tint. He told me not to worry because tomorrow it’ll all be fine. Well next day his guys came and probably used $200 of our water pressure washing those 2 spots all day, also pitted the concrete with so much pressure washing. 3rd day 2 guys came and applied a gloss sealer which made matters worse. Dug up some our landscape to empty concrete truck tinted water, killed half of our yard. They did not pull up concrete around the edges of driveway, we’ve since hired someone to do that because we had to aerate our yard and overseer and concrete had to come out before they could do that. I have photos. They did a horrible job! Talk to owner several days after, he kept telling me he was going to come look at it. I finally texted photos to him and told him I wasn’t happy, he called and was very unprofessional, after arguing with him, told him I wasn’t happy and hung up, never heard from him again. If this person can’t take criticism on his jobs, he doesn’t need to be in business!

"Hello, I apologize for the way you feel. The quote for your job was $20,000. Which $10,000 was paid for deposit. I had even went out of my way and busted out the steps by hand so no machines had to be on your grass. Once the job was complete you, had complaints about random things just so you didn't have to pay the remainder of $10,000. I informed you when using color in concrete it can vary in shade once poured. I had used 5 bags of color on each truck and order the same consistency of concrete. I offered to remove the part you said you didn't like and offered to redo it. While on the phone with you, you were then using foal language with me and you hung up on me. Then you constantly keep sending photos of a piece of paper in your flower bed. A picture of your window seal that had dust and bird dropping on it. You then sent me pictures of your neighbor's sidewalk with zip strips and asked why you didn't have them. Which I told you also from the start we saw cut the lines. Then you had my men cleaning of you flowers because there was concrete dust from when the saw cut that had gotten on them. As for the water they used I said to minus that from the remainder you owed. So all the random nit picking, I took it as you just were finding any reason not to pay the remaining $10,000. Therefore I was not going to come back and take the time and money to satisfy you, because that doesn't seem possible. At this point I will have my attorney contact you, because you still owe $10,000"

While friendly, my experience with Rick and All American Concrete was packed with problems. There were several delays, due to the weather (which they can't help) but also due to the wrong concrete being poured (which they could have prevented). The original pour was 08/02/2023 with the wrong concrete. After tearing it up and leaving my yard mangled for a few weeks, the re-pour didn't happen until 08/21, at which point they ran out of concrete and needed another truck to come out. They left damages at the bottom of the drive, where it meets the main driveway, which they still have not come out to repair. I texted Rick on 08/28 about it, and he said he should be out by the end of that week. I texted again on *09/08* and was told 'when I have time.' I had paid Rick on 08/21, thinking he would come out to fix the damages in a timely manner since it could pose a safety hazard.... I was wrong. Still waiting on ANY form of communication since 09/08 (and it is now 09/22).
