Universal Heating and Cooling

Universal replaced my HVAC unit which has had a few minor issues. The problem with their service is they left the old parts in my attic and 8 months later sent a erroneous bill. I paid for the unit in full at the time of service but apparently they have a new billing program that sent the wrong bill to me. Would not use them again.

Everything about the project was handled with dedication and pride in the quality of their work. Everyone with whom I interacted was eager to do high quality work. They were punctual and competent. There was not one deficiency that I could provide. I will certainly call them the next time I have work that falls withing heir area of expertise.

Great! I love these guys. They installed the two units in my house. Mike is very nice to work with and patience as well. The office staff does not disappoint, either. I even had Mike come out to move a thermostat that was not in a very good location. He did great work, did it cleanly and fast, and it didn't cost very much. I highly recommend them for all your HVAC needs.

They come out every spring and fall to service and tune up the system. My builder used them so I can trust them. They put all the systems in in my house. I have used them ever since the house was constructed and I will continue to use them, they are great. I have three systems. I have a filtration system and a UVA. The fan parts run on the systems all the time and that way the UVA light is working all the time taking out all the dust and odors. It is wonderful. The UVA is like being in a Doctor's office or the hospital, you just don't smell anything. I could cook cabbage and you wouldn't know it the next day because it is processed through.

They were very fast and honest. They were good.

They check the units and make sure that there is plenty of Freon or whatever they use. I pay a flat fee of about $90 a year. They come anytime I need them to come out. They are always punctual about coming out and doing the checking. They will come and tell me if anything needs to be done like any additional work other than just the checkup. They had replaced the units about 12 years ago. I have never had any problems whatsoever with them. I haven’t used anyone else in so many years and so I don’t have any way to compare their price to. I would definitely use their services in the future too.

Called company in the morning. Service professional arrived before noon during specified time period. He quickly confirmed that motor was not functioning and provided estimate for repair. Confirmed that part was covered by warranty. Completed installation of new motor which he had on the truck. Service was completed with 1 1/2 hours. Unit works fine.

After a storm over the weekend with several power surges I noticed the house getting hot during the night. Looking at the thermostat it was obvious I had a problem even after I had just had an individual check out the unit the week before. I had my granddaughter visiting with 2 more on the way to visit so I had to have help. I selected Universal due to their rating and close proximity and was not disappointed. I called early and was given a time frame they would be out on the same day. With a call prior to their arrival the service man went right to work to determine the problem. He was prompt, courteous and professional. I would definitely recommend this company and will use them in the future.

Their quality of work is definitely superior and worth every penny I paid them. I am extremely happy with this company and their performance. They are very professional and clean. I definitely recommend them.
