They performed the procedure professionally and the results were good.

Dr. Root has been the sole vet for our 1.5 year old miniature schnauzer since he was born. We have dozens of vets closer to us but still make the drive to Dr. Root and his great staff treat our dog like their own. He is a great value for the quality and always advises about different price options for procedures. They have also always made time to see our dog in emergencies and allowed us to make payments when necessary. Everyone is so friendly and Dr. Root can keep our pup calm and happy while poking and prodding and giving shots. Even when our dog had a urinary tract infection and we were going in several times sick one month he still loved going to the vet.

Dr. Ayers performed laser surgery to spay my cat. I had never heard of laser surgery for a cat, but I was told it was less invasive and required less healing time. Dr. Ayers did a wonderful job. I was worried my cat would be down for a couple of weeks, but instead, within 3-4 days, she was back to normal self (playful, eating and drinking regularly, etc.). I would highly recommended Root Animal Clinic to anyone.

Recently relocated to the area. Called multiple vets looking for someone who could help me with my dogs. They didn't need a visit. I just needed a clinic willing to work with my old vet and accept his prescriptions and information. Root was willing and able to help us. When I went in to collect the medicine, the vet spoke with me personally and suggested another medication for their issues. They also had my previous vet's paperwork and were ready to help me when I showed up. Can't thank them enough.
They will become our vet here.

This was the BEST experience I have had going to a and quot;Vetand quot;. The care and concern of Dr. Root and the wonderful staff of the Root Animal Clinic is above any expectation. I ask a lot of questions and every single question was answered with patience and explained fully.

Dr. Root and his staff are great. They care about you and your animals and they dont' try to spend every last dime you have. Dr. Root has great experience and will suggest alternatives if he thinks there are good options. He will try to save you money, but won't sacrafice the quality of care for your animals. I have 7 elderly pets- so I see them often.

Dr. Root takes care of all of my animals. He is very compassionate and will not hesitate to tell you how to save money on care/tests, etc. He calls to check on my sick animals and sends condolences when a pet passes away. I've used him for 14 years , and even though I now live in another town, I travel to bring my pets to him.

They are absolutely wonderful. They treat everybody like family and that is why I keep going back. The doctor is always sure to answer any of your questions and you do not feel like you are being rushed out.
