They took my outside air unit apart and said it needed a capacitor. The technician was holding a shiny new one in his hand but said that it was the wrong one and that he had another one on his truck. He also warned me that my unit could die in the next few days and he would have to come back and replace more parts. Guess what. It died 2 days later but instead of calling Tansil Heating & Air again I took the unit apart myself. The capacitor he "replaced" was not shiny and new, it was dirty, greasy, scratched up and was very obviously Not a new part. They said they would bring out another capacitor, but I declined. I went to Ed's Supply Co. and bought anew part for around $15.00 and installed it myself.
